There's some footage I haven't seen before, but what I have seen is confined to that which has been posted/mentioned on this forum, joana's blog, and the mccannfiles.

This 'ballad' was uploaded to youtube on 5 November last by 'Gerald Depardiue' who has a voice that, in my imaginings, is not dissimilar to that of the well known bilinguist Pedro Silva, albeit minus a distinctly northern accent big grin

So, at home the McCs did/do have a safety gate on their staircase, albeit at the bottom, not at the top where I would put it.

How come they consider a foreign stone staircase safe without such a safety device?

Possibly there was a gate at the top as well.

I had to skip through the video because of its sometimes flickering images but I'm sure that all the clips have been issued before.

As for the "singer" - don't give up your day job, whoever you are!

I put the name in that was in the top right, "ellyleinchen1" and that person has a youtube channel dedicated to missing children. Not sure why Gerard Depardieu would take this video from her channel and add an eerie soundtrack.
