Good Morning.

Can you provide any evidence that that is a lie ?

What did they do with Madeleine's body then after they'd cleaned the blood up and pushed the sofa to the wall?

And why did Eddie alert to scent in the wardrobe if she wasn't concealed in there at some point?

Was it the abductor who did that in the 3 minutes he was there?

Sorry to argue but what evidence is there that the blood belonged to Madeleine. Any evidence they cleaned up? And Eddie alerted to the wardrobe AFTER being directed there and Cuddlecat was put in there. (and this was after 4 attempts to get Eddie to react)

It is in the files.

So by saying 4 attempts were made to get Eddie to react, you are basically saying that Martin Grimes was trying to fit them up too??

Keeping it in the spotlight would surely bring the risk of someone remembering something would it not? So why do it. It doesn't make sense does it?

Hi all,
new here and finding my way.
Thought Id answer this.
Yes if "I had killed my daughter, and then got away with it" I would keep out of the spotlight.
It doesn't make sense to keep in the spotlight unless you are innocent.

It makes sense to keep out of the spotlight unless you need a constant feed of money to pay your expensive PR and lawyers to keep you out of gaol. It makes sense unless you would have to wind up your fund and hand the dosh over to a bone fide charity as per your articles of incorporation.
It makes sense if you are so sure of your innocence that you are unruffled by a book about to hit your local bookshop, based on facts of the investigation which comprehensively drives a coach and horses through the nonsense about a bogeyman abductor you and your PR have been peddling for 3 years.
It makes sense to keep out of the spotlight unless you are driven mad with envy that families in similar situation in the USA have been able to gather royalties from books, films , guest appearances, lecture tours,TV presenting jobs and highly lucrative employment with missing persons organizations and they are way way richer than yow

@Otium wrote:I understood that Amaral's book was banned because it hindered the search for Madeleine not because it contained lies. Although I have not read it, if it does contain lies I would be very interested to hear what they are.

With regards to the OP - On paper it does seem absurd to continue to be forcibly in the public eye if you have something to hide but taking the McCann's whole demeanour into account, I just simply say: If you tell one lie you more often than not have to tell more and more to cover up the first one.

Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive

Well you got it right but *hang on to your hats* the McCanns are bending the truth just for a change.

At their live press conference Kate blurted out that Amaral's theory had been disproved.

As you know, it hasn't. He is just banned from airing it.

All the UK's finest reporters were assembled there when she said it.

Not a ripple.

Clueless or gagged?

Blood and cadaver alerts
dismissed by UK Government

Retired DCI Gonçalo Amaral: "The English can always present the conclusions to which they themselves arrived in 2007. Because they know, they have the evidence of what happened - they don't need to investigate anything. All this is now a mere 'show off'."

Retired murder DCI Colin Sutton: "I would also like to make the point that Operation Grange was so restricted from the start as to be destined to fail."

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley made public on national TV that Operation Grange is a complete fraud.

Ex-DCI Andy Redwood had a "revelation moment" on BBC's Crimewatch on 14th October 2013 when he announced that Operation Grange had eliminated the Tanner sighting - which opened up the 'window of opportunity', in accordance with their remit, to allow the fake abduction to happen.

Despite "irrelevant behaviour" from blood and cadaver dogs in the McCann's apartment, on Kate McCann's clothes, and in the car they hired three weeks after Maddie disappeared, Ex-Chief Inspector, Ian Horrocks, said: "The thought that Kate and Gerry McCann had anything to do with the death of their daughter is frankly preposterous."

Gerry McCann called for example to be made of 'trolls'. SKY News reporter Martin Brunt doorstepped Brenda Leyland on 2 October 2014. She was then found dead in a Leicester hotel room. Brenda paid the price. She paid with her life.

Ex-Deputy Chief Constable, Jim Gamble QPM, congratulated SKY reporter, Martin Brunt, on twitter for doorstepping Brenda Leyland on behalf of Gerry McCann.
