Mrs. Fenns Niece & her 'sighting'

I am wondering what became of the apparent sighting by Mrs. Fenns niece, was it disregarded?
Are they saying that the Niece saw the man rushing away with a child under his arm in a blanket or Jane Tanner, I'm confused now as she said he had his arms outstretched with the child laying across them? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

And the second witness seeing a man rushing past the church, that can't be the Smiths either??

If you type Carole Tranmer in the search box, you should find a topic devoted to this sighting near apartment 5a. The description does not match that of either the Jane Tanner or Smith sightings, iirc. It is an interesting read.
