McCann couple want to discover what happenned to their daughter

The lawyer for the McCann says that they want to discover what happened to their daughter. This would imply, that they do not know. But surely, they always tell us, they know for a fact that she was abducted, and there is no evidence of harm has come to her.

Then the lawyer, Rogerio Alves, reports 'they harbour the hope of finding her alive'. So now, only a hope. Not a certainty. They are not 100 percent sure. There is doubt, the only other possibility is that she is not alive, so she must be dead.

If the lawyer for the couple McCann makes such a statement, what grounds are there now, to sue anyone else who believes the same?

Id suggest if Katie and the wee man start cooperating with the investigation they have a far greater chance of resolving this 'charade' that has gone on for nearly five years. They wont do that and its obvious why.

Would first reference of "lawyer" refers to Farter Ruck? If so,
Christ on a bike! They not only have spokesmen in both countries crawling out of holes speaking for them, they even have lawyers in both countries doing exactly the same for them.

It's indeed a mystery why one minute they think there is no evidence she is harmed yet the next minute they say they hope to find her alive? So which is then Kate, why cant you make up your mind, since you "knew" exactly what happened, you "knew" what you saw...so what DID you see Kate?
So come on then kate, now be a good girl - the world is waiting to be told exactly what you knew and what you saw.

Must be some lawyers not asking their clients what was it that she "knew" exactly what happened!
