KATE McCANN has thanked supporters for backing the family's campaign and keeping the case alive.
Kate McCann
MADELEINE McCann’s mum is “really encouraged” by progress in the new police investigation of her
daughter’s disappearance.
Kate McCann added in a message to supporters that she and husband Gerry “continue to hope the case will be reopened in Portugal in the near future so the investigation can be resumed”.
The family have previously said that Operation Grange, the Scotland Yard review ordered by David Cameron, had revealed “lots of new leads and new information”.
Madeleine was three when she vanished in 2007 on a family holiday in the Algarve. Her parents have never given up hope of getting her back.
Kate thanked supporters on the findmadeleine.com website for backing their campaign and keeping the case in the public eye.

And let's not forget all those people who worked tirelessly to translate all the Portuguese police files, and AnnaEsse who translated "The truth of the lie" so that many people could help the McCanns look for the truth.

That's not news, nor a recent picture. Isn't it the dress she wore when she allowed that Duchess to be presented to her at Downing Street?
So the question is: why this article now, what's being put into position this time?
Note that the child 'vanished' this time, not abducted.
Sue the hell out of the newspaper, I say!

The media regurgitates old stories every so often just to make sure nobody forgets the McCanns!

It's a flea circus. The fleas (Portuguese police) do not react to commands from anyone, however, the owner of the flea circus calls the command just as the fleas are about to jump, thus giving the impression that it's he who is in control.

Yep, I'm sure that Kate and Gerry "continue to hope the case will be reopened in Portugal in the near future so the investigation can be resumed" - is that in their nightmares???
Also, as former arguido's who 'failed to demonstrate their innocence' - would SY actually tell them ANYTHING specific?

Like they asked for Maddie to be made a ward of Court themselves?
And invited the child protection people in after arriving back from Portugal?
Could it be, just possibly, that they cannot attend Dr Amarals hearing in Court, being unable to leave GB?
And where is Gerry anyway these days? Not helping the police, by any chance? Any sign of life from him after Kates perjury at Levesons'?
Sorry, I meant: after failing to name blood found in the Scenic 'body fluid'.

You forgot: ...and asked for the EVRD dogs themselves? (they asked for the FBI, PJ found it too expensive and of no use, so the PJ got the dogs instead).

Yes, I am getting rather worried about Dr Gerry. He had little to say in the tv apperances in May and looked quite bored with it all. I hope he has not been whooshed

Needless to say Pam Gurney and Pedro Silva are there - no chance of anyone with a limited attention span realising this is a regurgitated story to keep them happy.

More than 1/3 anti - few doubters and Pam Gurney et al, she is a trooper that lady! Her enthusiasm is worthy of a better cause.

Gonçalo Amaral: "I remind you that they "demanded" the archiving of the process, in 2008, when they were arguidos, merely to defend their image. They are not interested in the reopening of the process or of the investigation"
Says it all.

A lot of quotes in from the scrolling banner above are in their own 'sticky' - you can find it above the debate section.

Has anyone noticed that this little announcement comes hard on the heels of Blacksmiths latest articles? Is in fact a reaction to it?

The distances are calculated by the:
McCann Measure, noun, [Scientific] This is a new variable fractal metric used particularly in measurement of the seashore and it varies between zero and infinity.
Maximal: It was nine hundred thousand MM metres from one end of Brighton beach to the other.Minimal: it was twenty MM yards from the restaurant to the apartment . The quantum correspondence unit is the BOG, derived from Bottom of Garden (source unknown).

It says "New Mising Children Web Site" as a rotating header.
Wonder how long it will be before they correct it now that I've pointed it out here ...
