I have been promising Jill for so long to pop in and say hello. Better late than never, as someone once said, 'though I'm not entirely sure that's applicable to everything.

Anyway, it's great to see so many people here, many of whom I have crossed paths with on quite a few occasions, quite a few names also that I consider as friends, even though I have met very few of them. What a bizarre contraption this internet thing is, that one can almost have a whole network of friends, supporters and confidantes that one never actually meets.

Bizarre, possibly, but just how many miscreants would be able to lead a life of luxury, protected by their Press buddies and rich and powerful magnates to impede any inquisitiveness, were it not for the uncensored, (at least for NOW), internet forum and chatroom!!

This is a GREAT forum, populated by some great people, and I shall do my best to contribute more often; for it is only by way of continued discussion, opining and voicing that this case can be maintained in the public consiousness at a level that requires ALL aspects of the McCann case to be publicised and considered.

Many thanks also, for the great messages of support and encouragement that I continue to receive. And if you happen to haunt this forum, thanks also to those whose messages are NOT encouraging, praising or nice at all! I refer to those words of abuse, vilification and hate that find their way to me quite frequently. I am EQUALLY grateful for these, not least because it is indicative that someone, somewhere is getting pissed off with what I write.

You know the messages and words I mean. You all get them yourselves!

More power to your words, and long may you keep writing them.

Excellent video Spudgun. I tend to agree that we will probably never know what happened to Madeleine.

It's possible, of course, that there may be innocent and credible answers to the questions raised, but the McCanns refusal to answer them does not put them in a good light.

Excellent video which shows that Spudgun wasn't fooled by the McC's in 2007, so just why, oh why, aren't other journalists asking questions of this nature and probing for answers about what happened to Madeleine McCann?

Hi Spudgun,

I have recently joined you on Twitter as well. Your video was one of the first I had seen in this part of the world. It led me to start researching and reading more about Maddie (as I only ever heard the "she was abducted" version here). It also lead me to this forum.
