More to show up the dirty tactics of those who don't want the truth about what happened to Maddie, really.

Stuff like this just makes me think the McCanns have got something really terrible to hide. It does them no favours to get people like Gunnill to do their dirty work. He wouldn't have done it for free.

eta: if Tony's going to get into trouble then I think it should be exposed how it came about. And I'll do that on my blog not in a private forum.

Why are you presuming that Gunnill is working for the McCanns, as opposed to just reacting to the way he was treated publicly by the foundation and Stevo for providing a set of photographs to his editor?

MG was attacked by the MF and Stevo. His website cloned, it affects his professional life.
Can't blame him for taking revenge.
Doubt he's got contact with the McCanns.
And Tony should have know better as selling that book after he's signed the agreement. You can't blame anybody else for it.

I don't know, maybe he is just reacting to the MF and Stevo.

But Gunnill said a courier picked up a package and I assume it's gone to Carter Ruck and we all know who their clients are.

Like I say, I'm only assuming.

From what Tony has said it would seem the 'run of emails' may show that the request was made before the injunction date. Let's just wait and see what transpires.

I don't know what's going on any more than you do.

But you can't commit a crime to make someone else commit one and hope to get away with it.

I would say that's exactly where it was going - can't think of where else it would be, other than to the newspaper offices. My thoughts would be that he's reacting solely to the website publication and the hardcowgate PCC complaint that was non-existent. Tony has been investigating Mr Tarwin since the end of August - so how he ended up sending a leaflet out to the guy is a bit of a mystery. Maybe this post wasn't made by him.....

I am the Secretary of The Madeleine Foundation. I see my name has been
brought into this. I know nothing about this ‘Gunnill info site’ but am
trying to find out about it. It is certainly nothing to do with The
Madeleine Foundation, though we have made a complaint against the
‘Sunday Express’ article of 16 August and Mike Gunnill’s role in that
article is certainly part of our complaint. As a matter of interest, we
are finding out quite a bit about Peter Tarwin a.k.a. Jason Peters and
intend to find out a whole lot more.

I'm just stunned that those leaflets were sent out to anyone. After all the snakey backstabbing that's gone on within the foundation and on 3A it amazes me that Mr Bennett would have confidence in anybody not to rat on him for breaking his agreement.

Plus, wasn't The foundation supposed to have handed over all remaining
copies? I wouldn't have thought Mr Bennett actually had a copy left to
sell. Where did he get the copy from to sell it?
