Do you think it is a good idea for a national television presenter to dismiss the findings of the Portuguese police and its judiciary as nonsense, given that you are to many [dimwitted] people, a mentor and example to follow. Should your viewers now ignore the Laws in Portugal as they are clearly not intended to be taken seriously and in any event they do not apply to UK citizens?

The message you are sending out Lorraine, is that it is OK to leave your very young children alone in your hotel room or unlocked apartment while you go out for a well deserved drink with your mates and if anything goes wrong, come to me and I'll help you boost your defence fund and look like saints.

In your position, I think it is reckless of you to take the side of the parents in an unsolved crime to the extent that you are criticizing another nation and its police force, for errors that are being pointed out by the former arguidos! Imo, you are inciting racial hatred, albeit the WI version of tutting at the ineptness of foreigners.

I strongly suggest you do the research Lorraine, read the files yourself, look at the evidence online, and use a bit of common sense, bereft parents do not go on European Tours!

I rewatched a documentary about Jeremy Bamber (Countdown to Murder 5 player) and he was still claiming his sister was the killer. So many similarities to the way in which psychopaths behave. One of the police detectives commenting is a great character, an old thief taker who had Bamber bang to rights from the start.

After staging the scene, Bamber established the story that his sister, who had a history of mental illness, had probably shot the family. He maintained the story, even ensuring 'Daughter slays family' made the headlines the next day.

His behaviour was bizarre, on the day of the funeral he came down the stairs in his new Hugo Boss suit and flaunted the lining to the guests, saying 'Im the Boss'. I don't know why, but Gerry's cheesy grin outside the Whitehouse came to mind when I heard that anecdote.

After spending so much time and money promoting Madeleine's distinctive eye, why are you now downplaying the role this played in the first few years of your campaign and dismissing what was promoted as a very distinctive coloboma, now calling it "a fleck"?

ETA: Doesn't that constitute "false advertising"...for want of a better phrase?
