The words posted above are copied from a post you gave in response to a question I asked of Majic.
It is obvious from the sentiments expressed above that you have a serious dislike for the site you quote JATYK and by default it's members.

May I ask if you also hold the same level of contempt for the site 'missingmadeleine' which from what I have read here from ex-members and an ex-moderator contains a secretive area titles SSS ?

If you intend to answer in the negative could you please differentiate, from your perspective, the difference between the two sites please.

First of all I'm not a member of missing madeleine and knew nothing whatever about it until the Bennett case blew up. That is because, with the exception of the mistake I made in joining the MC Files, I won't have anything to do with members' only sites or, worse, with hidden sections. So I can't judge MM, although it sounds like a banning stick is waved frequently.

I plead guilty to reading the Bennett/Debbie saga there and here out of a disreputable soap-opera fascination with the affair.

Which is worse? Well the JATYK gang get up my nose because, as I said, of the treacly mix of voyeurism, hatred and hugs, the fact that it is not a forum and because nobody is allowed on there to question them.

I shall now bore you, to the delight and boredom of our watchers. You see they go on and on about Brenda or whatever: I can understand that because it gives them a foothold. Yet the truth is that my attitudes to forum owners - all forum owners, altho' Ill exclude JKH here because, let's say, it's a temporary venture - are far more extreme than their own. When I was asked in a PM on the 3As about my attitudes I said "I take the celine/denoel view." Celine was a fascist writer whose publisher Denoel, unlike Celine, didn't get out of Paris in time in 1945 and was lynched. Celine, whose career Denoel had made and fostered, and whose writings had helped get the latter killed, was completely unmoved. As far as he was concerned Denoel was just a publisher, a parasite living off the words of others, deserving all he got.

That's how I feel about all forum owners and always have done.
