Scope of the joint investigatons
I believe the full story behind the disappearance of Madeleine will only make sense when all the strands of the case that preceeded the event and those that followed in the following months. I don`t believe that each strand is something that just happened in a natural series of events.
I say this because the steps taken after the disappearance seem so well organised. The startling exception being the hiring of those various private investigators. If I had been minded to so mistrust the PJ to investigate the disappearance of my daughter, I would have taken a lot of professional advice about whom I chose. Surely the most important of all decisions.
I do find it odd that neither SY or PJ are looking into this. SY in particular along with the investigation of the fund. Instead we have SY investigating a singular event in a foreign land in seeming isolation. Perhaps that`s why they are getting nowhere.

The look on Gerry's face is priceless and his spouse looks as if the penny's beginning to drop that here's another cop who hasn't been beguiled by her feminine wiles...

Was it on the 28th Nov Crimewatch where, when asked about the timescale of solving this case, Andy Redwood laughed??
It's bugging me and the CW update isn't available for viewing.

Maybe he was overcome with a touch of duper's delight Not sure who he'd be duping though. Would be interesting to watch it again now we're all armchair body language experts.

Gerry virtually always looks on the verge of boiling over with rage.
Kate generally either looks like a bored stroppy/moody teenager or frozen with fear.

Thank you Daisy. It doesn't appear to be on those interviews. Maybe it was an interview on the BBC/ITV news. I'm off to try and hunt this clip down, it's driving me mad! He definitely smiles/laughs....

I think it will have been when the story broke about SY wanting to join up with the PJ. This is like looking for a needle in a haystack!

Re: Scope of the joint investigatons
I'm fairly sure I saw it on the 28th November when Andy Redwood thanked the public for their help and then when he was asked about the timescale in solving the case he said he wouldn't like to speculate on that and laughed.
Or maybe I'm now losing the plot

Re: Scope of the joint investigatons
that photo I linked to was a still from the German CW IIRC..... I know you can all see the photo, but I usually manage to click copy and it comes here as a photo not a link you must click on...am told that if you copy a photo it can transfer as either a photo or a link, won't know which until you hit paste and it depends on who has put the image online.
I know it isn't a big deal but I prefer to see a photo and think a link is a nuisance. If anyone can tell me how I can make sure that a photo will transfer here directly I would be very grateful ! I do the same thing every time, with different results !

If you type:
[Img][/Img]
...then insert the link in the middle between the two square brackets with no spaces between the link and the brackets like this:
][You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
You'll get you picture in your post when you press send. Probably best to press 'preview' first.

Either that, or press the 'insert an image' sign which is second from the left on the second row of the code symbols above the reply box.
Just paste the url of the photo into the box provided and click on 'insert'.

Was that the last time they were seen in public together? The physical contrast between Kate and Gerry is shocking. She looks like she's about to disappear.

Re: Scope of the joint investigatons
Gerry always looks angry and arrogant but I'm sure there's uncertainty in there now too.
And Kate looks positively haunted. Same look on CW.
