Assuming that the Smiths, whilst inconveniently taking the route that they did take after their evening out, did see a desperate Gerry carrying a child down the street to the waters edge, as they state that they did, do we know whether the dogs subsequently detected any cadaver odour on items of clothing that Gerry might have been wearing?

We know that certain items of Kate's clothing caused an alert, but do we know whether that applies to any of Gerry's clothing?

no, as far s we know, the dogs didn't detect any cadaver scent in Gerry's clothes. Possibly somebody of he Tapas took hem back to England or Gerry did the same when he went bck to pick up the brushes.

It's a real pity about the CCTV being unavailable........or is it just indistinctive/ blurred?

I think the Smiths know exactly what they saw. It makes you wonder who else thinks the same.

Do you remember PJ asked for all holiday makers snaps to be sent in around time,we dident get to see any, as far as I know, but maybe something will become significant in Photographs now linked to these 38 people. GM was in tappas when KM raised alarm so timing is as tight for smith sighting as it is for bundleman IMO.there could be some houses not just sea, at that end of area wouldent you think that someone would have come forward by now to say that was me or something for both the sightings.maybe they have:spin: well get to know eventually I assume.

Wasn't it on MrS Webster's statement that Gerry was not in 5a when she got there, that he was out searching for Madeleine?
