Its always interesting to look again at the very first news reports, what was said and what we can see was happening. At 2.50 robert murat is right there with kate mccann and ROB. The family portrait was released immediately

I think that's also Robert Murat at 2.15.

It's interesting to see how quickly the fairy tale about wonderful caring parents and a forced entry to the apartment was being plugged.

Described as "her first foreign holiday". It was not though. Even if you discount Ireland as being "foreign" she was in Majorca.

Yes you're right it is MO and not ROB, actually this is more interesting. Remember the tapas lot said they had never seen murat before until they saw him on Sky News 10 days later as a suspect

The family portrait taken by Paul Grover always reminds me of the Parkers...who coincidentally also had a daughter named Madeleine (Emilie/Amelie)...The victim on the right, youngest with fingers in the mouth, parents big hands, iconic blonde girl

Maddie as usual isn't looking where everyone else is looking.
Emilie has been glued onto the group.

But the scariest photo - which they didn't promote a lot after the first few days is this one:

It's got everything, full face up to the camera, wide unlikely blue eyes, perfect skin, blonde hair. What a recipe!

Her eyes are freaky in this photo! Looks like a slit over the pupil

I wonder what the template could have been......Am sure it wasn't anything to do with mcdonalds non decaying fries!!!

I'd never seen that before jd. Interesting how:

it's reported that 'the parents said she'd been abducted', and not the official story now that this is fact.
about the Portuguese police quickly organising a search and closing borders, which again doesn't square with Gerry & Kate's later versions that borders weren't closed and no one else was looking.
Gerry phoned his family and told them that the shutters had been interfered with.

Of course, initial news reports can be wrong, but this one seems pretty unbiased to me.

We never hear quotes from Kate's friend Gill Renwick any more - who also had been told the forced shutters story.

No mention of how serendipitous it was that these items were available to Jon Corner and how much time it took to sort all this out.
Finding the right contacts etc. Did he have all these images at hand? Unusual I'd say for a friend of the family to be able to lay his hands on this material so quickly.

Going by the hazy times given above - all this happened before 10.00 a.m. Most impressive is the fact implied above that he acted according to the advice of the NCMEC in the US!

Am wondering what those 4 legged things are with the GNR!

They gave the video of Maddie in her snow white dress very quickly too, as well as the iconic red dress photo. Makes you wonder why did it take 3 week to release the photoshopped poolside photo

Murat looks like he is controlling everything....thought he was just a translator, and that he had come back to PDL in such a rush to sort out his own personal urgent business

If Jon Corner was there at this time too then how come he got there so quick? Another booking just before the flight took off like murat 2 days previous?

Trish Cameron says kate mccann went half an hour after gerry mccann checked. This is not true, he was back by 9.20pm. Also no mention of MO check which was half an hour before

Wonder if they found dianne websters fingerprints on the shutters, after she had tried to raise them the night before!!!!

And no mention of jane tanners abductor man/woman!!

For the parker photo,the girl in red dress and white sleeves , where is her feets? And what's up with their hands ?coinsidence they all show some weird signs with them ?look closely...

And yes reminds me of the mccann family photo in many ways.

I can't resist saying that I'm sure her feet are at the end of her legs! The photo doesn't show the legs of any of the family. I can't see anything strange about this photo - the behaviour of the father later is another matter though - and there are some really crazy things on the Internet about the middle child making some sort of demonic hand signal........

. The dress looks empty ime . Well both girls make a signal, and yes there are lots of wild stuff out there I agree. Who knows, I think the fathers reaction before going on tv says it all really, fake as fake can be.
