Does anybody know why Joana Morais and McCann Files have not been updated lately?

I visit various McCann-related fora from time to time and used to look at both these sites. Joana hasn't posted since 2 April and the McCann Files news pages have not been updated since 28 April. Does anyone know why?

I think they are both spending holidays in the Bahamas and they are right.

Or both could be tired of this issue.

Its something I`ve been querying as well. Joana is updating her site with UK news items, but there don`t seem to be any Portuguese ones (but that could be because there haven`t been any). She hasn`t displayed comments for a few months. She hasn`t tweeted on the McCanns for ages, though she has tweeted about her mother`s art.

It could be because she`s busy with other things, but something doesn`t feel right to me.

I don't know about Joana but Pamalam has stated on the Missing Madeleine site that Nigel has told her that he's been having a rest and hopes to be back updating his site soon.

I like to think that JM is keeping quiet in view of a libel trial in Portugal.

why inform the enemy of happenings in Portugal, especially as Mrs. has reportedly said she would like Mr. A. to feel fear?

Thanks for the feedback. I learned a lot of things I hadn't previously been aware of from those websites, so I hope they haven't given up altogether and will be back soon.

Good news - I just went on the McCann Files site and found this message:

Site is currently being updated to fill in the hole left over from the May and June period.

Will remove this message when completed.

So it looks like admin there is now back in business!

Maybe Plebgate is right about JM - in fact all of Portugal, unless there`s some other Portuguese bloggers I don`t know about.
