Hello

I stopped posting at the beginning of the recent attempts to disrupt the forum because I'm not here to get involved in petty arguments. Since then, the forum has quietened considerably and I haven't read any threads that I feel I can make a positive contribution to.

BUT I'M STILL HERE.

I'm lurking, reading threads, watching Portugal and Scotland Yard and, as soon as I have anything to contribute, I will.

That's just me - there are lots of other reasons for people to lurk rather than post.

So if you are a lurker who wants to stand up and be counted, add yourself to this thread.

I found this forum just before CW and have been lurking ever since. I am in awe of the quality of research and analysis, and am astounded at what I've discovered about the case. Thank you to the long-time, dedicated posters. I too want justice for Madeleine McCann.

I signed-up last week in response to a poster who IMO has dodgy motives and suggested to him he collect his coat. I probably won't post much at all, as others write far more eloquently and confidently than me. Great work everyone. smilie

Don't worry about writing eloquently and confidently. It doesn't matter. What matters is valuable input. Your first post was spot on so you obviously have good judgment. Please contribute. roses

Another lurker here,following the case since the start,and always believed the parents know more than they say.
Its only through reading this forum and seeing the efforts people have put into researching etc that my views have got stronger.
Im hoping to hear some good news soon,just realised the investigation line is down,along with the online store. Its probably been pointed out already.

Fingers crossed for goncalo amarel today and justice for madeleine mccann in the near future.

Ps. Love hobs posts,so interesting.

Things sometimes do get heated on the forum, especially when there is an obvious influx of disruptors. This generally happens at crucial times such as Tony Bennett's trial and the Amaral trial. It's to be expected sadly.

Don't let it put you off. It's a bit like growing a lawn. The more you take care of the grass the more the grass prohibits the growth of weeds. Stop mowing the lawn and well......

Please contribute. Genuine concern and contribution is what makes this forum. I'm a relative newbie and I am in awe of the amount of material and the dedication of people who just refuse to not seek justice for a little three year old girl with no voice.

I lurked for about 9 months before I joined up, simply because I was trying to catch up on the various threads. That was a couple of years ago so whatever has been added since must be a bit of a nightmare for newcomers to plough through but the ebook is a Godsend.

I still visit several times a day to catch up but don't post often as everything I would say has already been said.

May I congratulate Jill and Candyfloss on a magnificent forum which is exceptionally well managed. Also to everyone here who has spent the past 6 years fighting tirelessly to keep Madeleine's memory alive and get where we are today - there are too many to name but you know who you are. All eyes and ears on Lisbon for now[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I used to feel that way about DI but remove his Lizard and being god theories and a lot of what he says is interesting.

The case and the website are compulsive reading, like a good book that you cant put down. The only problem is the ending has not been written........... yet!

This is how I described the site to my wife recently.

As a father my heart aches to think of this poor child so needlessly let down. sad1

That's I think, maybe, what all of us feel about it ... a child let down.
And, yes, there are more of those, and I do care about them too, but their parents don't make a fortune out of the misfortune [though, there have been copy-cats ...].
And most certainly most parents don't make sincere attempts at ruining people questioning them.

I agree. Not so sure if it was anything to do with Icke himself though? And definitely long before the epic thread started by Anders777/7/Advocatus/Forensicist or the many other identities he used) winkwink

or obstruct justice,or look so damm happy when photographed,or wont help the police,or tell the truth or dont search (when my cat went missing i was out combing the streets for hours a day for 2 weeks,till he finally limped home with a badly broken leg.the vet said someone had probably kicked him,but he recovered well and loves his new life in the spanish campo!) . I could go on but i know you know all this. What a shame...

Yes tend to lurk as rather busy at the moment and this whole thing is driving me nuts so try not to let it pre occupy my brain too much, but check in every night in the hope that one day we will all know the truth!

I'm here reading every day but I don't often contribute. I find it difficult to write articulately about the case and I would rather read along instead. There are just so many details to remember but I'm starting to feel like I'm getting a better grip on it all. I was here awhile before I made an account and starting posting; I was a lurker on the MBM boards on Websleuths for years and somehow found my way over here. I appreciate everything that posters are doing for Madeleine, especially the very well-researched regulars.

Yes, I am another long term lurker who joined recently. I'm a huge Pat Brown fan and agree with just about everything she has said but love the debate that goes on here too though.
