Maddie "white blonde" first reports

In the very first reports of the "abduction" Jill Renwick told the world Madeleine had white blond hair. This was patently untrue and odd. Was it in Renwick's script? Didn't she know Madeleine?

Yes, was this another deliberate attempt to mislead the public about Madeleine's appearance? It was Amelie who was very blonde.

Jill R is quoted in the Standard as describing the white blonde hair. I think it was the same woman on Sky news from the start who kept on and on about how "pretty" the missing child was, as if that was very important.

Comments about how pretty a victim was happens all the time. As if beautiful people's lives are more valuable.

Oh yes it is.

The blond damsel in distress syndrome does not have age limits.

Though the other day with the missing baby in Wisconsin they found it necessary to repeatedly claim the baby is Afro American, while he clearly is for the majority from white heritage.

Why? Who knows.

Thanks for the reminder Juliet. I have never seen one photo of Madeleine with 'white blonde hair' not even her baby pics. So you raise a good question, did she even know the child?
