A strange coincidence? Empty A strange coincidence?

Post by Guest 01.12.11 20:24

Thanks to a person on twitter who put up a link to a Sun article I just noticed something rather odd. Look at the dates on the two articles below. Both about another David Payne. One in August 2008 and one in January 2010, and yet both virtually the same story. Looking at those dates I thought they rang a bell, and having checked, the first, August 2008 is when the case files were released complete with Gaspar statements, the second article released January 21st 2010 - a day or two after the Gaspar statements appeared in the European press.

A danger to kids ..yet free to roam

Published: 26 Aug 2008

A CHILD sex beast freed early from prison is roaming the streets unmonitored – even though officials believe he poses a massive danger to young girls.
Kids? magician David Payne, 63, got a 12-year sentence for raping an eight-year-old and sex assaults on six other victims as young as four.
But the twisted dad of two was released in the spring after serving eight years.

Evil ... perv performed magic at kids' parties
A risk assessment report drawn up by probation chiefs and psychiatrists warns chillingly: ?Very high risk of harm to children, target group, females three to 16 years.?
Yet when The Sun tracked the pervert, who used his role as an entertainer to gain the trust of parents and kids, he went unchecked as he left his hostel in Boscombe, Dorset.
And families living nearby have not been told he may be a serious threat to their kids.
A probation source said: ?It defies belief that officials can rank Payne as a very high danger to young girls, then release him on to the streets alone where he is surrounded by temptation.
?Payne is always out and about, and no one has a clue what he gets up to once he goes through the front door.?
Devious Payne, of Burton, Wiltshire, attacked kids as he drove them home from birthday parties. He also helped with swimming lessons.

Jurors were close to tears as they watched a video link of the terrified young rape victim describing the attack.
Balding Payne was put on the Sex Offenders Register after his release. But his past has been kept secret because of his human rights.
The Sun has demanded Sarah?s Law – after Sarah Payne, who was murdered by convicted paedophile Roy Whiting. It would entitle parents living near known sex offenders to be warned.
But Ministers have refused to bring it in.
The Ministry of Justice last night insisted all prisoners freed on licence could go back to jail if they broke strict conditions.

Paedo in beach ban gets a home by the seaside

By BRIAN FLYNN

Published: 20 Jan 2010

A CHILD rapist deemed such a danger he is banned from going near beaches has been allowed to move into a seaside flat by cops.
Depraved kids' magician David Payne, 64, was jailed for 12 years for raping an eight-year-old girl and carrying out sex attacks on six other victims as young as four.
But despite a string of restrictions on his movements, he has set up home close to the beach in the popular family resort of Weymouth, Dorset.

Kids at risk ... youngsters on Weymouth beach
close to David Payne's homeThe Sun watched as the paedophile roamed the town's streets unchecked even though documents drawn up within the probation service days ago state he poses a very high risk.
Payne, originally from Burton, Wilts, attacked kids as he drove them home from birthday parties. Jurors were close to tears as his young rape victim described her ordeal via a video link.
He has been kept at a string of hostels since being released from prison in 2008 after eight years.
The Sun revealed in August that year how he was was free to roam totally unchecked.
And a report by the MAPPA public protection programme late last week said he was a Category One risk.
The confidential assessment rated the "Risk of Harm" as "very high to children".
It said he has been banned from being in sight of "play areas, swimming baths, schools, beaches, parks, nature reserves or esplanades".
Yet police and probation officers have allowed him to move into his own flat in Weymouth.
A probation source said: "It beggars belief that officials can rate David Payne as such a danger to children that they ban him from beaches then let him live in a seaside resort.
"You couldn't make it up. The police and probation service had to sanction it before he moved in and could have stopped it." A spokesman for the Ministry of Justice said: "This is not a breach of conditions."
The Sun has demanded Sarah's Law entitling parents living near convicted sex offenders to be warned.

And here we have Joana Morais blog, complete with screenshot of newspaper report on Gaspar statement dated 21 January 2010, so it must have appeared the day or so before............

And strangely we have the Sun article appear on 21 Jan 2010.

Can't find any other mention except the Sun and the Dorset Echo which seems to have picked it up from the Sun and it caused quite a stir and protests in the town. But not appearing anywhere else that I can find.

I will add, it seems someone has misread my post it is another David Payne as I said earlier and it is clear by the age and address etc., it is not the same one. I did say another David Payne. My point was it was strange that these articles appeared when they did.

I remember reading them at the time and wondering if they they have been deliberately planted to take the spotlight off of the other one. You and I will never know if there really is another one. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Food for thought (?) -

1. There is one David Paine and another one, - the question of the person.

2. There is WHAT David Paine DID exactly while in conversation with Jerry McCann.

3. There is the context, the conversation, which is also important.

And. it seems the translation(s) may create fuzziness (almost unavoidable), which can be easily removed.
