Kate's Eye Wound / Scar???????

Something has bothered me since Madeleine's disappearance. In the 1st photographs that were taken, Kate appeared to have a fresh scratch wound on HER right eye. If you Google her photo's there are a few that show this red wound and even now you can see the scar.

In a lot of her photographs she seems to hide this scar with her hair either accidently or deliberately? In some newer photographs it seems to have been airbrushed out or covered by professional make-up.

This has always bothered me and I would assume that the police would have spotted this and questioned her about it?

If this was a fresh scar at the time, would it fit into my theory that Madeleine may have woken up and been very difficult to get back to sleep, maybe even still drowsy after sedatives had nearly worn out. How many kids have accidently struck out at their parent in a sleepy slumber?

As a parent I have experienced this a couple of time when my daughter was a toddler. What if Kate had reacted to this and struck out angrily knocking Madeleine against something causing her to concuss to the extent of accidental death?

I may of course be 100% wrong but It' something that I noticed at the time and has been niggling away at me ever since.

cant see anything wrong with her eye, although on one interview she did with lorraine kelly , looked like she had a black eye or bruise covered with foundation , Ive seen photos of her arms all bruised but I believe a poster wrote on here , in her book she said she was hitting her wrists on something, weird place to hit yourself

Like I say, in the very early photo's most of them have her hair covering this 'scratch' or she is facing away from the camera, but it was there and definately about the size of a childs a scratch mark.

I always thought that was a brown birth mark, but it could be a Max Factor concealer of course, really badly applied by a man of course. laughat

Here's a fairly decent shot of it. I wondered vaguely about it once, as well. It looks a little like a sun spot, which can become darker from more sun exposure, which she probably got in Portugal. But I can't find a closeup of it, to be more certain.

This really looks to me like a birthmark though I agree it's not always apparent. The posed Mirror photograph of St Kate with her good quality wristband and Cuddlecat has got me off to a flying start to the day, as in the computer nearly flying out of the window!

I think it is a birthmark. My daughter has a similar mark, on her neck. The skin there is very taut and pulls the other skin. Kate has a small problem with that eye, it is narrow more than the other eye, and it twitches. If this mark is a birthmark, the tight skin may pull at the eye, making it twitch. I do not think it is anything sinister, just an accident of birth.

I don't mean the mark above her eye but this one down the side of her eye, it does look like a scratch scar to me and a fairly recent one that Madeleine could have made on that fateful night?

I see what you say Steevo, if you have a good quality pic of the birthdaypicture, maybe you can see if she has it there.
I only have this , but small pic so cant blow it up. But looks like the mark is there before the trip.
