This had me puzzled too.
1. select "host an image icon" 15th from left, select the image you want to upload and then click "host it" button.
This uploads the image and then gives you the url to where the photo now is. Copy url.
2. Select image icon next right, paste image url into it and click ok.

Re: uploading images to this site
I'll give it a try:
click post reply to open post box. Above it are the little boxes for bold and underline etc. The 15th from left is a little pic icon with drawers, it should show host an image when you hoover over it. Click, it gives you the possibility to upload a file (from your computer) or to enter an url when the image is already on the web. Choose the file from your computer then it will come back with 3 forms of image adresses. For me the copy button does not work, so I highlight the middle one do Ctrl C and paste that in the reply box (Ctrl V). To make the upload box disappear I have to click the host image icon again. And voila: there you have the image when you do preview or send.

Sometimes you can right click and copy (Ctrl C) the image in your email or so and paste (Ctrl V) it, but that does not always work.
Btw the photo showing is Kate, the "loving" mother talking about the heartbreaking question "why didn't you come when we were crying".
I bet CR would love to have that disappear too.

Just an observation..... when you are pained to watch their interviews, notice when answering with what most would consider to be a lie, they always shut their eyes as they are saying it
