Again led here from the ‘Ocean Club Guests Revisited’ thread, I came across this in GM’s 7th September statement:
“-- When questioned, he says that Madeleine usually sleeps well at night. During the first months of her life she had some difficulties sleeping due to feeding problems. After moving to their house in Rothley in April 2006, twice a week Madeleine wakened, left her bed and went into their room; this sometimes happened between 23:00 ' 24:00 for no apparent reason, maybe because she was used to sleeping with (*** blank ****).’

Looking at the PJ pages alongside the translations, on page 2571 line 65 is completely redacted. This is the only line in the whole statement that has been obviously redacted.
From the context it can’t be the parents, no reason to redact if it was the twins, so was it Grandma, Childrens nanny or who?
Why has that whole line been deleted from the published files?
I’ve searched and can’t find this having been discussed before and also have no recollection of it.

It can't have been sinister. Why would he tell the Police something bad?

Agreed.
But something he asked to be kept from scrutiny for some reason?
Such as living with Uncle Brian & Auntie Pat or Grandma maybe, even if only for the last few months of her second difficult pregnancy?
But why? By her own admission KM was pretty much down for bed-rest for the last three months, so they would have needed all the help they could get with a nearly two year old, unless it carried on a lot longer than that.
Certainly something odd.

He's very specific that " twice a week she wakened and left her bed " , but then it's only " sometimes between 23.00 24.00 "
So possibly twice a week whatever or whoever she was used to sleeping with wasn't there ?
2007 the sleep chart is still there so the problem persisted .

There was a discussion Maddie had been with her Gran when twins born and spent that xmas with Eileen .. was in former posts can't copy and paste but also Daily Record from years ago so maybe she used to sleeping in Nana's ?? Also off topic sorry if so but if McCanns had credit cards from Donegal they would not show on UK credit check .. but you need to be ROI resident to have banking was there a fiscal cover up i.e didn't want debt or fraud exposed .. odd .. silver surfer can someone tell how to post link .. M xmas Daily Record??I don't think its a conspiracy medical conventions etc ..I think it simple people concerned with personal lives exposed possible ..fiscal fraud or not living beyond means and possible Munchausen by proxy .. they all were caught up in lie and bond etc and a tot suffured and two children will be effected by this as well as other children on that 'holiday'

What - Gerry McCann asked? I think that most unlikely, if he did he would have been given a short sharp shrift!
No explanation to offer as to why that one line is blank, probably just a a simple error. The missing word/s could well have been referring to the twins. Quite possible McCann was referring to the transition between Madeleine sharing a room with the twins and later being allocated her own bedroom. She was only two, coming on three, in April 2006.
