Madeleine Fund- Online Store closed

The online store in the Madeleine Fund website (No Stone Unturned, remember) is closed, whooshed, gone. Donation buttons gone. Kate is too busy apparently and has shut up shop. I wonder what is going on here, the Maccanns never do anything without a reason.

All very intriguing. It coincides with the recently published addition of John Michael Griffin to the Madeleine Fund, who is a Tax Consultant by trade. Are the two events linked?

Filing at Companies House on 7th November, tax consultant John Michael Griffin was appointed a director on 13th September.

Will they fulfill any orders they have already taken payment for or refund said payments.

Does this mean they have sold out of every item and are closing shop or, do they still have stock which they have paid for which will now be gathering dust?

Perhaps they are closing shop since any money paid for items will now need to be used to pay all their legals costs and penalties?

Why bother running an online store if you will no longer benefit from it?

Don’t think there is anything much here, straightforward replacement for the accountant Michael Linnett who resigned due to ill health and then passed away shortly afterwards, earlier this year.

His actual appointment date was 13^th September, so having had time to have a look, he may have suggested that they close the shop as a prelude to closing down the fund, as I can’t imagine any sales have been made for ages.

‘Kate’s message’ is just nonsense, as it doesn’t take any time at all to do nothing.

I still think the 10th anniversary was the precursor for shutting up shop in every respect. Realistically, even they must know they can't continue the facade for ever.

Gradually they are bowing out - the final curtain call is drawing near. I suspect the long term strategy was always planned to end after 10 years - as Kate McCann said 'ten is a very big number'. Is the binary system relevant to a missing child?

Sure - it's one more than 9 and one less than 11.

Sorry, no get out clause here. There are hundreds and thousands of good hearted folk who want answers - even if you don't.

They could of course have used this website to answer all the questions that people have to ensure people like us are off their backs and they can focus on finding out what happened.

But they've never been interested in answering questions.

If it was me and I was innocent I would invite any question and answer it. I'd meet anyone anytime to get them on board.

Any desperate parent would.
