Making a false statement = Perverting the Course of Justice

Sophie Pointon told police she'd been sexually assaulted in the back of a cab
Criminology student rang 999 in the early hours of April 22 this year then continued the deception by signing a statement giving an account of the attack

Judge Christopher Batty: 'Your malicious complaint has done a huge disservice to those seeking justice through the police and courts.'

She said her hopes of becoming a police officer were now ruined. Yesterday, she was jailed for 16 months.

Seems as though Miss Pointon has finally got the message of involving the Police in bogus false claims?
The woman in question seemed like she was already qualified to attain a position within Her Majesties Police force,some would also speculate that she may have been over qualified,ah well,the Metropolitan Police Force will have to shoulder on without Miss Pointon?
It seems as tough if you are part of a select group,you can have a PR person hold your hand so to speak,send text messages within a Police building when your client is being interviewed,to your Senior Personnel with little regard to finding out what has"Actually Happened"to the Parents Daughter,"Protecting an Adult before a child"?
The Parents then can open a"Special Fund"by Top Barristers and Lawyers after only eleven days of their child having disappeared,that this is a Normal process?
The"Special fund" has paid out certain quantities of the funds assets to Bogus Personnel they employed and at No Time involved a UK Police Force to investigate,these bogus firms,Kevin Haligen,Alphaig,Metodo3?
In fact,Dave Edgar,Arthur Cowley in 2008 Mockumentary had E-Fits drawn up,that were suppressed from the public for five years until Operation Grange,Crime Watch October 2013,where they were Screened to the Public as part of the programme?
The parents of Madeleine McCann have appeared before a Judge Lord Leveson and made numerous accusations against the press in the reporting of their missing daughter Madeleine? They at No time made statements,that they had not paid Bell-Pottinger £500,000,but the owner Lord Bell confirmed his organisation had received the Funds to keep the Parents in the Headlines for a minimum of Twelve Months?
As Verdi and other CMMoM members have stipulated that,Operation Grange,has never commented on the Seventeen Crime dog alerts by Eddie,Keela,associated to Family members?

Everybody knows this is a whitewash. A "fit up" in reverse if you like. The BBC are involved so the British people have to do as they are jolly well told. Most of them are too thick to care otherwise so will lean towards the evidence provided by the Sun.

Isn't that a bit of a contradiction?

Elements of the BBC have undoubtedly played a part with the ongoing deception in this case but I can't agree that the British people have to "do as they are jolly well told" because the BBC have leagued with the McCann defence campaign - nor can I see how this directly relates to the McCanns perverting the course of justice.

The BBC, the Sun, Sky News, the Express, the Mail, the Telegraph, the Guardian, the Times - all guilty of shoddy journalism and corruption. Do I take any notice of what they say or do as they say?

An emphatic NO!
