Re: Ben Needham's family to make appeal on Greek TV.
I understand Ben's Mum was on the itv news today. When asked how she carries on with the search, I believe she said "I want him [Ben] to know the truth" It struck me as a heartfelt appeal to her son, irrespective of the outcome that she was devoted to him and the ongoing search. I found it very moving.

Detectives searching for a toddler who went missing 24 years ago have said a TV appeal has generated a possible lead.
Ben Needham, from Sheffield, vanished when he was 21 months old during a family holiday on the island of Kos in 1991.
Kerry Needham, Ben's mother, appeared on Greek television on Friday to make a fresh appeal for her son.
Detectives said a man had contacted them saying he resembled Ben.
Officers will now contact the man and arrange to take a DNA sample.
The call was one of a number received following the broadcast, South Yorkshire Police said.

Now, call me 'cynical' but didn't HE 'resemble' Ben, last week, last month, last year, when the camera's were not there?
Now the TV camera's are 'there', ......................suddenly, "Oh yeah, that could be me!"
It ain't X-Factor, mate! 'fiive minutes 'fame' 'on telly'!
This is serious, Ben Needham's mum wants proper 'closure', one way or another!

Not a single sighting of Madeleine since OG went investigative. How strange is that - well it's not strange at all when I think about it. There's no need to fund a media machine anymore.jeanmonroe wrote:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-32763397

Strangely, there is a mass appeal by Kerry Needham on Greek television and someone has come forward. Remember this isn't the first time someone has come forward believing they are Ben in adulthood.
@jeanmonroe. I can read between the lines of what you write. I can understand what you mean in your posts. I also see that you are a lovely woman with a good heart.
