Aggro at the IICSA inquiry today about Alexis Jay’s decision not to hear from any of the individual survivor core participants.

UPROAR at #CSAinquiry investigation into child sexual exploitation by organised networks...

Non-institutional core participants are protesting at “the absence of voices from victims and survivors who can challenge official narratives provided by institutional witnesses.” 1/6

Maggie Oliver’s statement to ‪#CSAinquiry investigation into child sexual exploitation by organised networks – and half of Jon Wedger’s statement – now published by ‪#CSAinquiry.

Alexis Jay is told at #CSAinquiry: “Every single core participant in this investigation who is complainant focused – whether a complainant themselves… an independent individual, or an organisation which represents or works with victims and survivors – shares these concerns.” 2/6

A joint submission to Alexis Jay at #CSAinquiry says: “You are hearing from a large number of the national-level institutional core participants, but you are not hearing from a single one of the national-level non-institutional core participants.” 3/6

Non-institutional core participants in #CSAinquiry investigation into child sexual exploitation also complain about the obscure way in which written evidence has been put onto the record, as I have highlighted.

And as happened even more starkly in Westminster investigation. 4/6

Alexis Jay is asked at #CSAinquiry: “Why are we hearing from witness after witness with corporate speak and assertions about how well they are doing in the fight against CSE without the ability to really probe and push back against them?” 5/6

Alexis Jay is to consider the joint submission to re-balance completely the evidence heard and adduced in #CSAinquiry investigation into child sexual exploitation by organised networks.

Watch this space. 6/6

Better late than never I suppose.

Trying to trawl through the adduced documents has been a nightmare up to now, no sensible headers for the majority of documents, just a list of documents produced, without links, so you have to flit back and forth from the list, tabbing through the pages of docs to find the indexed number. The search and filter section is too clever for it's own good.

Alexis Jay orders #CSAinquiry lawyers to prepare “a better index of the written material adduced in evidence by publication on the inquiry website”.

She does not specify whether this applies to all invs – esp Westminster – which also used obscure system to publish evidence. 3/3

@Doug D

Witnesses not being allowed to Speak? Sounds familiar...

The State Prosecutor is not allowing the Defence Lawyer Herr Fülscher access to their Evidence files against his Client CB.

This confusing and therefore delaying Tactic you describe is reminding me of a comparison to the KGB/STASI methods of the past.

Altering your Perception of Reality also.
