The people, you mention, plus other very wealthy, 'backers' of the duo would have had an army of 'minnions' going over every single word of the files, watching every tv appearance, interviews, etc.,

They could have 'clubbed together' and put up £100 million 'reward' but didn't.

Not a 'peep' out of the 'backers' AFTER the files became public.

just an aside: Will Andy and the 36 'elites' be in the 'MIT office' every day this week 'earning' their £6,228 a day, whilst their 'clients' enjoy their christmas, with a 'break' from searching for Madeleine, with their families?

I'm really worried about the twins and about Kate.
I hope they are at her parents' home because Kate needs their support, especially in the coming days.
This could be her worst Christmas, after Madeleine's death.
I think the same about Gerry's.
Whatever happened, they need help. I hope that Social Services are thinking of that.

Have to agree with this, two children approaching their teenage years and twins are very close. I would like to make an open appeal to Kate McCann:

Kate, the truth is going to come out someday, please do the decent thing and make sure it comes frm your lips for the sake of your children. Forget your husband,,forget the media hangers on, forget the masons, these people will will dump you in a second.

I'm sure that people aren't arrested on Christmas Day unless it's for some offence committed then or they're dangerous criminals on the run. Anything else can surely wait.

I agree with you, Aquila. I too, am lost for words. This is an excellent forum, with unrivalled research, but occasionally, someone comes up with the most LUDICROUS statement that degrades the forum. And it's sweeping statements, like this one from Marconi, that does the most damage.

Oh, I am waiting to be contacted, to be told I have won zillions of pounds on the Lottery. Well, that's my "intuition". spin

On a lighter note, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Day and it will continue into the New Year and beyond.

Personally I don't believe that Kate ever felt suicidal - it was just an attempt to garner sympathy for not being believed by those sardine munchers.
