Agree, well put, would like to know who or what prompted Coral Jones to get involved with the Mcanns, which of the spin team was involved.

They also needed someone to front it who had a person missing, abducted and killed. Proven.

She probably didn't want to get involved but after some persuasion and financial incentive she changed her mind.

So another link, I wonder what his opinion was on the Mcann case

He later helped in the production of, and personally narrated, the 'A Minute for Madeleine' campaign video; an appeal directly to the person keeping a 'secret' about Madeleine, 'who knows who's involved in her disappearance' and who may have been groomed by the perpetrator(s) to stay quiet.

In January 2010, he shared a stage with Gerry McCann at the CEOP conference entitled: 'Taken: Sexually-motivated child abductions' - an event for law enforcement officers only. Gerry McCann, who according to the published agenda was due to deliver the closing speech, actually spoke earlier in the day and is then rumoured to have left (unconfirmed). Thus he would have missed the keynote speeches of both Dr Joe Sullivan and Detective Chief Superintendent Graham Hill, not to mention the closing question and answer session for all speakers.

what makes you think along those lines?

I think it a bit iffy to say that Coral Jones was probably persuaded to get involved after receiving financial incentives.

Is this where they feel united .hmm

I am curious as to whether or not Denise Fergus, Mother of James Bulger, was similarly approached to be part of this event. Denise is without a doubt a truly brave and dignified woman.

Just catching up on this thread and I see Teresa May was at the Child Alert launch! I didn't realise. Nice pic with child abduction writ large behind her head. (page 15 of this thread). So......

On Tuesday she chats to KM at the child alert launch.
On Wednesday she gives the police federation a rollicking.
On Thursday, Rowley gives his statement.

Is there anything, just one thing in this case, that follows a normal format?

Jeremy's evidence also casts doubt on that given by Jane Tanner, who said she saw someone leaving the area carrying a child with pyjamas matching Madeleines.
