The McCanns and Missing People...

I think the Charity of 'missing people' (why the lowercase?) deserves closer scrutiny.

Some of the photographs I've found featuring them and the McCanns are really rather odd.

Like this one, taken 17th March, 2012 - St Patrick's Day :

Friends Reunited was already an A-grade turkey way before 2009. So I'm not sure who was supposed to benefit from this tie-up but, being as generous as I can be, it smacks of being born out of something other than a genuine desire to find "missing people".

These are members of the Rock Choir, at a carol service, St Martins-in-the-Fields, central London.

Organised by the NPIA and Missing People, this service was held 21/12/2011.

I was intrigued by the outfits worn by these singers, having first noticed them at the Fun Run of April 2011.

I thought "Good Lord! They seem to be ladies of a certain age", and wondered whose cronies they were...

I'd never heard of the Rock Choir phenomenon.

According to Wikipedia, it's the world's largest contemporary choir - and at one stage - August 2011 -

Coutts Woman Magazine had Rock Choir down as "one of Britain's biggest brands".

They even played Wembley - at some stage -

Strangely enough - or not - one of their songs performed in their world record attempts...

...is a Bryan Adams song 'When you're gone'.


HelenMeg - I don't think they're Kate's legs, the pair of them were in lycra leggings that day.

I feel sorry for whoever it is, though - I wouldn't like to be pictured half-naked next to Gerry!

Or perhaps they could be arms - is the person in the black leggings bending down behind Gerry? It

ETA - after a longer look - the black thing (which I supposed to be a leg) appears to have cloven hooves on the bottom - like a pigs foot. is it a leg?

Isn't that particular search for unidentified remains or persons, though? Madeleine's not unidentified - and her remains haven't been found (as far as we know).

The whole "missing persons" thing is very strange and the Madeleine case has caused mauy of us to focus on what is going on.

We now know that PACT - the  very odd Charity which pays its CEO Lady Whatsit more than its annual income -  turns out to be nothing more than a branch of Public International Law, (Conflict of Laws) which most of us studied, or touched upon, during our degrees.  
She married a Muslim.  
He took the children.  
She registered a Charity, and pays herself 85,000 a year for attending "events" at No 10.

Even Cherie Blair-Booth managed to distance herself from this outrageous money grubbing. And that is saying something !

And the more we have gone on, the more we realise that many or indeed most of the so-called Missing children Charities and web sites are fraudulent.  
The USA experience, where the bloke who Gerry spoke to at length eventually admitted Fraud to a committee of Congress, is just the start
and if you look at the the list of those allegedly "abducted" across Europe, most are clearly nothing more than with the other parent  . . .

All this has been ruthlessly exposed by the McCanns.
And for that we must thank them.
If now, the obscenity and 'ludicrous' nature of the statistics of these claims can be exposed,
if now the fraudulent nature of so many of the "Charities" can be exposed
If now the people who have taken (stolen, fraudulently obtained) money from their lies about so many millions of children being abducted every minute / hour / day / year
can be exposed, and prosecuted for their cynical fraud  . . .
The McCanns will have done the world a great service.

I really don't think she's as vain as she is portrayed -

- she's happiest in nondescript casual wear and her shoes always look comfortable.

To her credit, she's never tried to portray herself as sexy...

I think Gerald is the family's peacock.

I, too, am surprised by Mdm Mampilly's grey hair and cyclist's sunglasses.

She's always been the best-dressed of the Tapas Ladies.

Nothing on Missing People - nothing!. Nothing on Missing Kids - nothing!. Nothing I can see by the Child Rescue Alert - nothing!

Have a look at this link for a missing 'child' on Missing Kids - this has nothing to do with Ashya. Once you've have had a look at this link please tell me what the hell this charity does?

The first thing that came into my mind this morning regarding Ashya is that is parents are probably Jehovah's Witness. I dismissed as me being a cynical old sod. It turns out they are.

I wonder if Missing People have added this to their statistics though.

Having said all that, it doesn't alter the historic case of a missing 'child' posted on Missing Kids does it?

"Missing People" on their last filed 'accounts':

£1,710,751 to 'pay' for 'staff costs, 'salaries' pensions, etc.,'

They need to 'collect' this amount, annually, BEFORE a SINGLE PENNY is allocated to 'find' a 'missing' person.

Can anyone inform me if  Kirsten O'Brien and Zoe Tyler who have people 'missing' have ever said "we were glad the investigation (into THEIR missing people) was closed"

or

Does anyone know if Kirsten and Zoe have ever said: "whether the case (into our missing people) is re-opened, or not, it dosen't matter"

Not that i believe, for a second, they have ever asked for their 'cases' to be closed or shelved, at ANY time.

Unlike the Missing People 'ambassador' K McCann.

Perhaps Kirsten and Zoe will ask their Missing People 'ambassador' what exactly she meant by saying she 'was glad, the investigation into her missing daughter, was closed' or perhaps they will ask their Missing People 'ambassador' exactly what she meant by saying 'whether the case, into her daughter's disappearance, is re-opened, or not, it dosen't matter'

Those two 'statements' are in total contrast to what Missing People's ethos is purportedly meant to be all about, isn't it?
