Kate McCann gave an interview to I think the News of the world..In it she stated she knew immediately Madeleine had been taken because cuddlecat that had been in Madeleines arms when they left had been placed on a shelf above the bed out of reach of the children.

Did it ever cross your mind that Kate never said any such thing. A photograph of CuddleCat on the bed was taken that night by The PJ. And as has been pointed out, there was no shelf. Kate must have known this.

The McCanns - and Oldfield -who made the original request to staff to call the PJ - were under the impression they HAD been called but in fact Mark Warner's did all their own proceudres before they even took the phone off the cradle.

It's all there, in the files, but I think you would just find it all too boring.
The facts are just too mundane whereas fibs and speculation are so much juicier and are endlessly malleable.

And as for you Bennett, you are no better. The first officer to arrive was NOT handed two lists. tThe PJ - not the GNR notice who were the first on the scene - the PJ, were actually there when at least one of them was written.
They stood and watched them write it.

I have answered all of these questions before. Many times over the last two and a half years.

Blunt? Pathetic? You might thank your lucky stars that I am not blunt. You would have a great deal more to complain about if I were.

However, I think you have treated Debbie appallingly. You have quite deliberately, and on several occasions, said that she is not in her right mind. I don't agree with either of your opinions on the case itself. I defend Debbie because I believe that she has cause for concern, especially in the way in which you have treated her.

Perhaps shockingly they didn't have a specially prepared non lined A4 sized notebook with them in preparation for such an eventuality and in the chaos and every minute counts atmosphere they grabbed the first big bit of paper they could or is that too blindingly obvious for you?

Perhaps because there were 9 of them all shouting over one another and trying to work out with the aid of, 'when did you arrive?' and 'when did X arrive?' and 'oh god how long did we wait for the first course' and 'did you also pee when you did your first check?' etc etc they were trying to get an accurate piece of information that would be obviously vital for the police, particularly in a foreign country where language barriers were an issue on the night. Again, though, perhaps too blindingly obvious for you?

God damn it there must be something sinister to take from this pretty straightforward, witnessed, standard reaction sort of behaviour.....
