Its not certain whether the same Judge will be reappointed to listen to the closing arguments from the Lawyers,didn't Mitchell say it could drag on for another five years whether that was in hope or anticipation we know not.

I'm really looking forward to the Christmas Crimewatch Special. Will Kate and gerry be there ?
Will Philip Edmonds be there? Perhaps Russel O'Brien will make a guest appearance.

Hopefully Kirsty and even Lorraine Kelly may be presenting. It will be so much fun. Andy is so good at those shows and I'll be ecstatic if Sir Bergan-Howe makes a speech.

They look distinctly 'uncoupled' in this photo. I'd have expected a 'supportive closeness' following the appearance at the trial - but this makes hem appear distinctly at odds with each other. I'm puzzled as to why

Yes she might be putting seat belt on or something but given their hands are normally locked together - they havent even made an effort for the cameras. Gerry's hands are very primly crossed on his lap - most unlike them when in the public eye. Just an observation.

There was never a date set, not as far as I know. The changes introduced by the new judiciary chart where courts were dissolved and agglomerated into larger ones resulted in chaos at the Citius site (main digital platform for distribution of court processes/cases and where the hearings/sessions are recorded into) where over 3,5 millions processes that should have migrated to the new courts "disappeared", are "lost" somewhere. So, at the moment lawyers, prosecutors, judges have not been attributed their cases, and until this problem is solved - which has paralysed our Justice - there isn't any date set for the McCanns vs. Amaral process.

I have been watching one of Hi-de-Ho's vids. of Mr. speaking outside the court about their son asking Mrs. questions about things he had heard on the radio on the school bus. Presumably this was within the last year or so?

Does anyone know whether this piece of info would carry any weight in proceedings at this stage because as far as I am aware they did not produce any evidence at the libel hearing relating to the time the writ was first filed about any possible harm/damage done to the twins by the "claims" made by Rocky in his book.

If the case had been heard two years (say) after the writ was filed, then the evidence about the info. heard on the bus would not have been available for any judge to make a decision, so how can evidence produced about the past year have any bearing on the matter?

All very confusing, but I hope that this is all finalised in January and that Rocky wins and follows through with his thoughts about possibly being able to issue libel writs himself.

Unless Sean was the very last drop off the school bus I cannot believe he would have heard anything from a radio over the chatter of the other passengers. Having for a short time been an escort on a school bus,it would be impossible to hear anything other than very loud music,certainly not someone speaking.

Perhaps he has learnt to lip read and read the remarks from the Big Brother screens flitting between each individual passenger that are now a regular feature on the Peoples' Republik transport system.
