just stumbled on this, its not new but never seen it before, just convinced me even more the truth is being hidden, watch gerrys massive gulp after he says the last time he saw madeleine was on his check and kate shows what a great or not so actress she is!

There's no sound on the video and all the others on the link. Anyone else having the same problem? It's not my computer, I've checked YouTube and that's okay.

Jean - it was silent for me too - besides not having a clip of Gerry saying anything at all. But I cunningly clicked on the blue speaker icon on the right and slid the volume up on screen. Hey presto!

They mention that there were TWO important sightings, but then only go into detail of the JT one. And then change the subject.
Gerry's display when he goes through the allegations of accident and then hiding / disposal of the body is wonderful, Tourettes twitches, wiggling his head around, not looking at the interviewer. Why not just say "It is simply not correct" and leave it at that ?

But then look at the interviewer who is seen seated at the book launch at 13:37 to 13:42
Her face tells a story.
And that story IMHO is that she doesn't believe them.

Ah yes I remember this clip now - nobody seemed to know where the McCanns actually were at the time of the interview, probably not in Australia. I managed to watch a bit of it again before I went running not to the lawless hills but for a sick bucket.

I liked the bit though where Gerry's eff off comment on the airport bus video had NOT been edited out!

This video along with many others shows me that kate mccann is an extremely deceptive person, her own book proves how deceptive and manipulative she is, and also a liar, her friends statements prove she is a liar, unless she suffers from amnesia, about time the met reinterviewed her thoroughly, already
enough is enough sometimes, well, for most people, but not her imho she will go on with this lie till she dies hopefully someone will crack it before then

imho gerry mccann is covering up for her

The video also makes me re-consider, in the light of discussions on forensic liguistics, namely the accidental or 'planted' statements:-
Kate McCann describes how compact Madeleine was as a baby, with her 'round head'. Well, the video shows clearly that Maddie's head seems 'not round at all' especially when compared with the twins, in joint play time.
Maddie's head has been discussed a lot, and whether there was any illness / weakness.
Moreover, Gerry describing the last photo, giving the precise number of minutes and seconds when it was taken and on which camera.
We know that to be completely untrue, again well discussed on 'the last photo' thread.

This is snipped from the forensic linguistics - I thought it might be of use here.

"Did you kill your daughter?" asks the lady journalist. Gerry answers:

"No. That's an emphatic 'no.' I mean the ludicrous thing is. Errm... what... I suppose... what's been purported from Portugal is that Madeleine died in the apartment by an accident and we hid her body. Well, when did she have the accident and died? Cos... the only time she was left unattended was when we were at dinner, so if she died then, how could we have disposed of... hidden her body when there was an immediate search. It's just nonsense. So. An' if she died when we were in the apartment or fell injured, why would we... why would we cover that up?"

KM (interjecting): "And it gets even more ludicrous, that we've obviously hidden her so incredibly well, where nobody's found her and we hid her (interviewer: 'incredibly well') so well that we then decided that we'd move her in the car which we hired weeks later and you know it's just ridiculous."

Let's take this a step at a time.

"Did you kill your daughter?"

"No. That's an emphatic 'no.'"

This is Gerry speaking don't forget. For any other innocent mortal 'Absolutely not' would have been a sufficient response. Not for Gerry though. Despite his subsequent claim, he gives a decidedly unemphatic answer - 'No.' What follows is meta-language, where he is describing his earlier articulation of a word and does not address the underlying semantics in any way. Incoherent and unnecessary expansion then takes us away from the original question, referencing what has been 'purported' in Portugal, namely that 'Madeleine died in the apartment by an accident and we hid her body.'

Next comes a cunning locking of the incident to a specific time frame, with the suggestion that Madeleine could only have had an accident when unattended. But Gerry slips up in questioning how it would have been possible for them to have disposed of Madeleine's body. In immediately substituting the phrase hidden her body he has already told us what in fact happened. Excitedly he goes on to ask why the parents should have covered up an accident. Why indeed.

It hardly comes as a surprise that Kate leaps in at this point, before Gerry's mouth can write any more bad cheques. She loses no time in elaborating upon the 'hide-and-seek' scenario played out that Thursday night, and the 'ludicrous' idea of their hire car being involved afterwards. But the damage has already been done.

I had read that analysis before, but had never watched the jerking body and facial twitches that go with it.
They are most revealing.
( Kate actually laughing when she corrects the 50 metres to 49 point whatever. Actually laughing. The whole thing is a big joke.)
But Gerry's stress reaction starts when he is asked the direct question, "Did you kill your daughter' rather than all the normal anodyne ones they normally get.
The change in his composure is remarkable.

It is irrelevant how far away it was. They couldn't see the apartment clearly enough to be able to protect their kids, nor could they hear anything coming from them. In between the checks the kids were totally vulnerable

I too noticed the interviewers 'look' at the end, it was a very strange look for someone who was trying to convince us they are innocent.

I also have seen the summary of this interview and how GM almost in his own words tells us what happened but again never have I seen this in action. He certainly won't win an oscar for that performance and neither will she.

Bearing in mind the McCann couple left the 3 children (combined age 7) in a locked/unlocked apartment night after night whilst walking nearly 50 metres across a public space (so not like your back garden) says it all about them.

That of course is what they say they and their friends did; not that I believe them.

Surely if you are dining in your back garden you don't sit 50 metres away from the back door/kitchen/toilet. It is usual to have the patio/terrace by the house and this area used for dining/socialising.

All that matters is could they see them and hear them.....the answer is no, they were clueless of anything going on at the apartments. Absolute child neglect

Also on this video which is from last summer 2011, they are LYING to the Australian public about the shutters being opened. This is now 4 years later and they LIE LIE LIE, just like the channel 4 documentary LIE and press stories LIES...yet at the same time are trying to destroy someone life for trying to make known the true facts of the case

The mccanns and all those protecting them are seriously mentally unbalanced and need stopping and need medical help. Nobody with a normal balanced mind would ever try to pull off a stunt like this

Hi jd, that is why socialising areas are built by the house so amongst other things you are close to the children, I know that Gerry's patio is by the back door as have seen it on one of the videos. Like dining in your own back garden, get real Gerry, only those from far higher social bracket than you are dine in a secluded gazebo where the flunkies carry out all the food and drink, and whilst the children are being watched over by the Nanny as they sleep.
I don't think they are mental or unbalanced jd they just think they are untouchable with the level of support they have, not mental just very very wicked and come the final trump

I think you would be mentally unbalanced to do this, it is not normal behaviour

gerry mccann can bleat on about dining in your back garden but this is not the point.....can the children be be watched over is the only factor, which very clearly they could not be in the slightest for the larger part of each evening from the Tapas Bar
