The Creche Sheets - Page 3 Empty Re: The Creche Sheets

Post by Guest 29.02.12 14:53

Madeleine was recorded as being in the creche, right up until 17.30 on the night of the 3rd.

Her nanny Cat Baker would have discussed this and the creche sheets, during her interview with the PJ.

They must have all been OK, as they have been released and not witheld, unlike two of the twins creche sheets.

No nanny reported seeing any bruises or red marks on Madeleine, before that time. No drowsiness, no distress, nothing. Therefore she must have been absolutely fine right up until 17.30 on the 3rd.

Therefore, how could anything of happened to the little girl everyone thought was Madeleine McCann before 17.30 on the 3rd, without anyone noticing a thing?

Why would any records, creche or otherwise, be untrue before 17.30 on the 3rd, if it happened after that time?

You cannot have it both ways. Either, everything was alright, right up until 17.30 on the 3rd. Or it was not.

That is the starting point for any considerations.

The Creche Sheets - Page 3 Empty Kate

Not sure if it has been mentioned before, but Kate's signature on the creche sheets seems odd.

If you look at her signature on the PJ interview sheet for 4th May, she signs Kate Healy, as she described herself in the bewk up to Madeleine's disappearance. The K is quite distinctive.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Yet on the creche sheet just one day earlier she is signing Madeleine out as Kate McCann.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The writing between the two entries looks different. If Kate is to be believed when she says she was Healy until 4th May, that would suggest that someone who didn't know this signed Madeleine out on 3rd May as Kate McCann incorrectly.

That's the thing uppatoffee. If someone was signing in/out another persons child, why wold they need to imitate the parents signature? Why not just use their own name for security purposes? It was allowed, according to the nanny Catriona Baker. If a parent had given someone else permission to pick up their child, that was OK as long as the nanny knew about it in advance. Presumably a quick phone call could have organised that in a flash.

The evidence you have listed here suggests Madeleine was alive till 17.30 on the 3rd. Then it implies something must have happened to her that night but early enough for the cadaver odour to have registered in three areas in and out of the apartment AND to give the MCs time to plan and dispose of the body before alerting the police. This is the most plausible timeline for me, at least for now.

The Creche Sheets - Page 3 Empty Re: The Creche Sheets

Post by Guest 03.03.12 13:42

This is the whole week, with as much info about Robert Murat included as I could find. Please let me know if anythings not quite right, or anything I could add to the mix.

Saturday April 28th

The day of arrival and the welcome meeting. Some of the nannies attended that meeting, to meet the parents of the children they would be looking after. Catriona Baker claimed that the first time she met Gerry and Kate, was at the start of crèche the following day. It would seem then that the McCann’s missed the welcome meeting on the Saturday. Looking at the statements of the other nannies who looked after the twins, they also do not mention seeing the McCann’s on the Saturday.

GM phone activity – no pings, calls or texts that day.

KM phone activity – at 14.30 the signal is picked up, then nothing.

Sunday April 29th

Catriona Baker in her Rogatory, claims she “had previously written the children’s bracelets which included their name, allergies and relevant information”. But if she had not met them before that morning, how did she know what the allergies and relevant information would be? No tapas child was photographed wearing a bracelet before May 3rd.

Catriona Baker also states that there was a separate sign in sheet for AM and PM, yet all the ones we have seen are combined.

GM phone – at 10.13 he gets a text message, then nothing further.

KM phone – no activity that day.

Tanner’s mobile was in use at 04.12 am, the other person involved is unknown.

All of the tapas group attends the Millennium restaurant for breakfast.

The twins AM Jellyfish crèche sheet, has been withheld by the PJ.

The lobsters crèche sheet for the 29th, is not dated.

Lobsters crèche starts at 9.00 am.

Two children arrive at 9.10 and another two at 9.15.

Elizabeth Naylor is signed in as Robert Naylor at 9.10, by Robert Naylor.

Madeleine is the last child to arrive at 9.45, signed in by Kate.

Kate signs Madeleine in leaving her mobile number.

There is no explanation for her late arrival.

Gerry’s get’s a text at 10.13

Ella does not attend that morning, according to Jane, her foot was still sore.

Crèche should finish at 12.30.

Madeleine is the second one to leave at 12.15, signed out by Gerry.

Elizabeth leaves at 12.30, signed out using Ainne Naylor.

AM and PM is separated by a very squiggly line.

Afternoon crèche starts at 14.30.

Elizabeth arrives at 14.40, signed in by Robert Naylor.

Madeleine and Ella arrive at the same time at 14.45 by Gerry & Russell.

Gerry signs Madeleine in leaving his mobile number.

Gerry does not remember doing this. - Statement 10th May.

Elizabeth Naylor is signed in once again as Robert Naylor, by Robert Naylor.

Someone crosses out both entries of Robert and puts Elizabeth.

Ella is signed out at 3.30 by Russell, just 45 minutes after arriving.

Elizabeth is signed out at 5.20 by Ainne Naylor.

Madeleine is signed out at 17.30 by Kate.

‘McCann’ as written by Gerry in the afternoon, rises up as it finishes.

‘Naylor’ written in and out, also rises up as it finishes.

The corrected name Elizabeth also rises up.

Gerry writes the time 14.45 and the minutes are elevated in a unique style.

Other notable events;

Catriona Baker made a very interesting comment about that first day. “Concerning the little girl, she states that she was an active and sociable child. Only on the first day was she more reticent with the group”. - Statement 6th May.

Then by her Rogatory Interview, we have a retraction:

“My original deposition also mentioned that Madeleine offered more attention to the boys in the club. I do not remember having made such an affirmation given that Madeleine passed the majority of time playing with Jane Tanner's daughter”.

Monday April 30th

GM phone 07780 - silent all day.

KM phone 07903 - silent all day.

The twins transfer from Jellyfish to Starfish, for this day only with Shinead.

Gerry signs twins in at 9.20, out at 12.15. Minutes elevated.

Lily is signed in immediately afterwards, but it’s written as 9.10. Minutes elevated.

Madeleine is signed in at 9.30, out at 12.10 by Gerry, minutes elevated.

Ella is signed in at 9.15, out at 12.35 by Russell.

Elizabeth is signed in as Robert leaving no parental signature.

‘Robert’ as written, rises up as it finishes.

‘N’ in Naylor, appears to be the same style as ‘N’ in McCann.

Numbers ‘7 & 8’ in telephone numbers, appears to be the same style.

Elizabeth is signed out at 12.30 by Ainne Naylor.

In the afternoon, same page used in lobsters, no squiggle, just one blank line left.

The twins are signed in at 15.25 by Kate and out at 17.20

Kate leaves 2 phone numbers 0790310 & 0778698.

‘Sean’ as seen on the crèche sheet is part printed, part hand written.

Madeleine is signed in at 15.15 by Kate.

Kate leaves 1 phone number 0790310

Madeleine is signed out 15 minutes later at 15.30 by Kate. Minutes elevated.

Elizabeth does not attend.

Ella is signed in at 16.00 as R O’Brien, by Russell, location at tapas.

Ella is not signed out.

William Totman at 2.35 is signed in as John and then crossed out.

Alexander Mann not signed in until 4.30.

other events that day:

Robert Murat books his flight from UK to FARO.

Tuesday May 1st

GM phone 07780 - is silent all day.

KM phone 07903 – receives 14 voicemails, all get deleted.

Ella is signed in as Emma by Russell at 9.00.

Ella’s entry also states they were staying in 5B, which is incorrect.

Lily Payne is signed into Jellyfish at 09.05 by David. Minutes elevated.

Elizabeth is signed in at 9.10 by Robert.

The twins are signed in Jellyfish at 09.20 by Gerry. Minutes elevated.

Madeleine is the last child to be signed in at 9.30 by Gerry.

Gerry does not leave a telephone number, only ‘tennis’.

The twins are signed out at 12.20 by Kate. Minutes elevated.

Lily Payne is signed out of Jellyfish at 12.20 by David, time rises up as it ends.

William Totman is signed out a 12.25. Minutes elevated.

The Creche Sheets - Page 3 Empty i.d bracelets

Post by russiandoll 03.03.12 14:12

this is rather strange, as I remember a photo of one of the twins with a prominent bracelet after May 3rd, Sean was looking through a gate I think. I don't recall seeing any photos of bracelets prior to this date either. I did think initially that maybe if creche had been pre booked alongside the holiday itself, a form had to be filled in with the holiday booking noting any health problems, allergies etc...this is why they were ready, but if that were the case I would have expected to see something prior to 3rd. The famous tennis court photo does not show any id on maddies wrist as far as I can see..... was this statement ever followed up I wonder?

To write a time with the minutes elevated, is quite a unique style of writing I would have thought.

What are the chances of two very small creche groups, of no more than 4 or 5 children in each, to have two or more people who did just that?

Post by russiandoll 04.03.12 10:04

the elevated minutes are certainly unusual and appear [will try to find examples] continental style at a first glance, however there is in some countries the h for hours placed after the first number.
Where I have seen elevated numbers is in mathematical calculations ;so just a guess, someone with a maths or science background might note down numbers by elevating the lesser figure[ minutes] after the larger one [hours?]. just thinking out loud here...

From Catriona Baker’s Rogatory Interview:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

“Either Kate or Gerry would accompany Madeleine every day in the morning and would return at lunch hour to take her back. I met Gerry more often as he would drop Madeleine off with greater frequency than Kate. I also remember that Kate was present for High Tea accompanied by the twins between 5.00 and 5.30 in the afternoon”.

Shinead Vine - the twins nanny - Interview on the 7th May 2007

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

“She affirms that she saw Madeleine McCann once when she arrived during the week, but that she did not know, as the deponent was working only with the Toddler group;
She did recognise the family, as she was responsible for the twins, children of the couple and siblings of Madeleine McCann;
Questioned, the deponent states that she did not notice anything abnormal in relationship between the children and the parents, when they came to pick up the twins, they seemed happy to see them”.

Shinead Vine, the twins nanny, only remembers seeing Madeleine the once.

30/4 twins dropped off at 9.20 by Gerry, Madeleine was dropped off by him 10 minutes later.

1/5 twins dropped off at 9.20 by Gerry, Madeleine was dropped off by him 10 minutes later.

2/5 twins dropped off at 9.10 by Gerry, Madeleine was dropped off by him 10 minutes later.

The PJ withheld the crèche sheets for the other two mornings, so unable to comment on those days.

2/5 twins dropped off at 2.40 by Kate, Madeleine was dropped off by her 5 minutes later.

3/5 twins dropped off at 2.45 by Kate, Madeleine was dropped off by her 5 minutes later.

That’s 3 mornings and 2 afternoons, a total of 5 separate occasions when the twins nanny should have seen Madeleine. But she only claims to have seen her the once. What about during high tea every night?

Did Madeleine say goodbye to the twins? Did the twins want to stay with Madeleine which led to a bit of a kafuffle? Who knows?

Maybe Madeleine was taken to crèche by someone else on those days, which might explain why the twins nanny didn’t see her. But then how do we explain Kate and Gerry’s signatures, 5-10 minutes later?

“She affirms that she saw Madeleine McCann once when she arrived during the week, but that she did not know, as the deponent was working only with the Toddler group;

The bold is very strange..has the word "her" been omitted in error, ref to Madeleine/....she did not know her as she was in a different group to the twins......otherwise the inference is she is negating her very firm words about seeing her, she has not said she thinks she saw Madeleine, she affirmed it=positive. It makes no sense for her to then imply she is not sure.

Stacy Portz – another nanny from the twins section who looked after a different group.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

“Knew the McCann family since 29th of April as they would drop off their toddlers, Sean and Amelie, in the Toddler Club;
From 29 April until 3 May she was with those children every day.
She also knew Madeleine as she would frequently come talk to her brother and sister when picked up by her parents; She never had Madeleine in her care.

From what she was able to observe, Madeleine was an active and sociable child and that when with her siblings [at collection time] she was excited and happy to see them”.

How comes Shinead cannot recall these events?

strange....according to this 2nd nanny, Madeleine coming to the twins' creche at their pick-up time does not seem to have been a one -off event, it happened as routine. It is bizarre then that her colleague only recalls seeing Madeleine once....at the start of the holiday. Could it be due to their shift rota, Shinead that week was not around at tea-time in the creche, maybe was elsewhere, e.g prep for the children's high tea? It is bizarre, this one-off sighting of Madeleine, in the light of which nanny appears to have had most to do with the twins.

Every day from the 29th to the 2nd May, the twins creche sheets state Shinead was their official nanny.

On the 3rd May, for the first time that week, it states that Stacy with (Shinead) in brackets is looking after the twins.

Shinead looks after the twins every day and only remembers Madeleine once. Yet Stacy, appears on the creche sheets for the first time that week and has many memories of Madeleine. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The Creche Sheets - Page 3 Empty Re: The Creche Sheets

Post by Guest 05.03.12 13:19

Having observed the handwriting in the creche sheets, we seem to have two very distinct styles.

The minutes on the time is elevated, which I have marked up in purple.

A name when written rises up as it finishes, which I have marked up in pink.

Elizabeth Naylor is signed in as Robert at 9.10. ‘Naylor’ rises up as it finishes.

Madeleine is the last child to arrive at 9.45, signed in by Kate.

Kate signs Madeleine in leaving her mobile number 07903.

There is no explanation for her late arrival.

Gerry’s get’s a text at 10.13

Ella does not attend that morning, according to Jane, her foot was still sore.

Crèche should finish at 12.30.

Madeleine is the second one to leave at 12.15, signed out by Gerry. Minutes elevated.

Elizabeth leaves at 12.30 by Ainne Naylor. ‘Naylor’ rises as it finishes.

AM and PM is separated by a very squiggly line.

Afternoon crèche starts at 14.30.

Elizabeth arrives at 2.40, signed in by Robert Naylor.

Elizabeth Naylor is signed in once again as Robert Naylor.

Someone crosses out both entries of Robert and puts Elizabeth.

Madeleine and Ella arrive at the same time at 14.45 by Gerry & Russell.

Gerry signs Madeleine in leaving his mobile number. Minutes elevated.

Gerry does not remember doing this. - Statement 10th May.

Ella is signed out at 3.30 by Russell, just 45 minutes after arriving.

Elizabeth is signed out at 5.20 by Ainne Naylor. ‘Naylor’ rises as it finishes.

Madeleine is signed out at 17.30 by Kate.

The corrected name Elizabeth also rises as it finishes.

Gerry writes the time 14.45, minutes elevated.

Other notable events;

The twins crèche sheet now says Starfish, not Jellyfish. For this day only.

Gerry signs twins in at 9.20, out at 12.15. Minutes elevated.

Lily is signed in immediately afterwards, but it’s written as 9.10. Minutes elevated.

Madeleine is signed in at 9.30 by Gerry. Minutes elevated.

Ella is signed in at 9.15 by Russell.

Elizabeth is signed in as Robert leaving no parental signature.

‘Robert’ as written, rises up as it finishes.

Numbers ‘7 & 8’ in telephone numbers, appears to be the same style.

Madeleine is signed out at 12.10 by Gerry. Minutes elevated.

Elizabeth is signed out at 12.30 by Ainne Naylor.

Kate leaves 1 phone number 0790310

will look again....appear consistent with Gerry's signature but not with Kate's , e.g 30th April, signed in and out with times noted differently. It is an unusual and very individual style of noting down hours and minutes ..I would expect whoever does this to do so consistently.

Would expect the times and signatures to be written by the same person. Any reason this would not be the case?

Kate McCann Monday 30th, note the style of the number 4 in the time.
later on that week, note the difference.

again a very distictive way of writing a number, not one I would expect to change.

Why do some of these sheets not have the date on?

As far as I know, it's only Madeleine's Lobsters creche sheet for the 29th, that's not dated.

As for the issue of consistency [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I'm pleased you brought that up and your guess is as good as mine.

Here is an interesting section. One might think that seeing as Kate is in the same place, at the same time, as another parent. She might have just been trying to be polite and say, 'oh, why I'm here, would you like me to sign you in/out'. There's nothing wrong with that whatsoever. In fact, I would do the same thing myself. But what I would not do, is offer to do that and use a different signature to my own. So it could not be that. It could just be of course that both Kate and the Totman parent, have the exact same writing style, along with Gerry and David.
