He speaks of Madeleine's bedroom having stars on the ceiling and then goes on to tell his audience that her bedroom hasn't changed, the stars were still there the last time he went in there!

This latest marketing ploy is worse than his blog.

I doubt the McCanns live too far away from legals. Goncalo Amaral is asking the right questions. He always did.

On the internal mail Uni events calendar, they stopped giving his name and also asked people to email in advance to confirm attendance, not standard practice.

Could it be that K&G got wind of some negative reactions, possibly even fearing that there might be some kind of demonstration or leafleting outside the venue - or even a disruption of the lecture with an awkward question, or 48 if KM is present??!!!
They never do anything without some ulterior motive and this could perhaps be part of it??

Academics are trained to spot improbable scenarios and fake arguments unlike the gullible Kandohlas and Kellys!
GM's latest performance is so wildly out of character and so transparently unconvincing that one can only wonder what provoked it.

It also flies in the face of his previous mantra that there is 'no evidence she has come to harm' and is a findable girl. Now they'll meet one day in heaven like a Verdi opera finale (the composer not the poster!!)

With the closing of the online shop and M in heaven they do seem to be trying to close something down and slip away... but too many questions remain unanswered, not least the role of the fund, and costs payable to GA.

Remember it was money not murder that got Al Capone!!!

Did Gerry and his controllers deliberately plan the broadcast to coincide with the lecture?

Having endured another airing of Gerry's grotesque fables in the form of his recent "mental health" interview I was struck by something he said. He made much of Madeleine's total lack of fear of water (actually, at one point I felt he was leading up to saying that when they "discovered" her missing they feared she might have fallen into the pool)
No doubt his story was designed to back up Kate's ridiculous claim about humouring Madeleine by getting into the frigid pool with her shortly after arrival, but, for me it had another effect.
If Madeleine did, as Gerry stresses, completely lack fear around water why the hell was she crying and saying "I'm afraid" to Cat Baker on the
mini-sail. She was n't afraid of water, however cold - well so her father proudly recalls - so what was she crying about and afraid of.
A case of foot in mouth there Gerry, methinks! Poor Cat, all her creativity undone by blabbermouth. They can't both be right. Madeleine was either afraid of water or she wasn't.

I get the impression this show was supposed to be a cry from the heart, Gerald McCann humanizing himself on national radio to prove he can feel reel emotion despite the hard exterior previously portrayed to the world's media

What went wrong?

It beggars belief dunnit? Well here's news for you Messrs McCann, no matter how you twist or turn or jumble or confuse or misrepresent or pretend - responsibility for the disappearance of your daughter Madeleine, lies 100% at your door. Your door alone!!!
