Same modus operandi at Hillsborough, by SYP, as 'Orgreave'

'Concocted, false, police statements', (ALL 'trials' against 'miners' collapsed, due to erm, 'incorrect', erm 'mistaken' police statements,) 'blame the 'miners'', 'it weren't us, gov, 'onest'

The SECOND government 'cover up' in just two days!

Orgreave and Leveson '2'.

If i hear 'not in the public interest' once more, i'll 'scream'!

Yesterday, in HoC, Amber Fudd's, 'whipping boy', Brandon Louis (sic), 'uttered', 'not in the public interest', TWENTY SEVEN (27) 'times', in one 'hour', in not answering an UQ about an Orgreave 'inquiry'!

And Tory 'MP's' being 'briefed' to 'include' in their 'questions/praise' to use 'not in the public interest' at any opportunity.

Used to be, Tory mp's saying, slavishly, 'long term economic plan' NOW, the rallying 'cry' ('mantra') is, 'it's not in the public interest'!

IF 'corrupt' 'colluded' 'false', police statements are not 'in the public interest' then whatever 'will be', under this government?

Perhaps asking 'questions' about the 'disappearance' of a three years old child, will also be 'deemed', by this government, as 'not in the public interest'.

Can't have the Tories sullying the legend of Maggie Thatcher can we! She used South Yorkshire Police to smash the troublesome striking miners, and beat her adversary Scargill into oblivion. Whatever people think about strikers, and I know some people think striking is wrong, the levels of violence used by police during those pitch battles was far beyond necessary.

In grandmother Christine Needham's own words - not a disjointed press report but a video that can't be disputed..

.... when the idea was put into my head that Stephen most likely took him for a ride on the bike, we just expected him in the next half hour he'd be back so then you don't panic, you sit and you're waiting thinking .... because .... the farthest thing from your mind.  The panic didn't start while after we realised he hadn't gone with Steve .... it was later on that night and that's when we went to the police....

.... you wouldn't think of it in a million years, even when I went to tell Kerry Ben's missing, she was saying to me "mom - don't worry somebody will hand him in, he'll be found"  - it's not - it doesn't register....

Somebody will hand in him - like he's a lost umbrella?

Over the road, Andrew has posted up an episode of ‘Missing’, which featured Ben @ about 12 minutes in.

In it there are some historic shots of the single story barn or workshop to the right of the ‘old lady’s house’, two of which have been snipped out and pasted by Seahorse.

The two pictures are fairly similar but the ‘old lady’s house’ in this one can clearly be seen to be of less height than the barn, i.e without the first floor and three upper windows, so what state was her house in at the time and exactly where did she see Stephen from, as no first floor must also mean no balcony round the back? There is an even better shot @ 14.48 showing about half of the house, clearly a single story.

https://i.servimg.com/u/f37/19/05/52/03/farmho12.jpg

If there was no first floor/balcony at that time, how would she have been able to see Ben playing ‘to the back of the farmhouse. To exactly where Ben was last heard’ as there would be no line of sight?

If, and it must be a pretty big if, she did see Stephen taking off on his bike for the second time, (rather than the first time when he popped down to the shop), how could she also not have seen or heard ‘the alleged abductors’ who must theoretically have been there or thereabouts at the same time?

Hopefully some more photos taken at the time will come to light.

It would appear the Needham collective are not convinced by the conclusion of South Yorkshire police after all..

Ben Needham family: Help us 'bring him home'

The family of Ben Needham have reissued an appeal for anyone with more information about where the missing toddler could be to get in touch, so they can "bring him home and lay him to rest."

Officers from South Yorkshire Police say they believe Ben died in an accident involving a digger on the day he went missing 25 years ago on the Greek island of Kos.

Detectives recently spent three weeks searching the area, but Ben's body was not found.

In all honesty @Verdi, if my child was missing and a toy of theirs was found in the vicinity and no evidence of human remains then I would continue to think that they were still alive.Unlike the McCann mantra, there is no evidence she is dead, in this case a toy car isn't evidence that Ben is dead.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, hence my previous comments about how readily Kerry Needham accepted the conclusion of South Yorkshire police when previously she was so adamant that her son had been abducted - even after much the same deduction was made a couple of years prior.

Needham family plea for information about where Ben is buried

11:02 - 12 Dec 2016

Speaking for the first time since the dig on Kos came to a close in October, the Needham women joined us on the sofa this morning.

They revealed that they ACCEPT that their beloved son, grandson and brother Ben IS confirmed 'dead' but they are still looking for answers about what happened. They are calling on the people of Kos to give up their secrets and help them find Ben's body.

PM: "Let me ask you another hard question, do you accept, as a family, that Ben is dead (family: 'Yes') you've come to terms with that?"

Family: "well trying, come to terms, but..."

PM: "you'll never really come to terms with it, but you've come to terms with the FACT that he is dead?"

Family: "yes, we know it's the truth"

PM: "And now it's about being able to find his body and bring him home"

Family: "yes, he deserves that.................."
----------------------------------------------------------------

So, no more 'Find Ben' website?

Will Kerry/family be 'seated', front row, with the McCan'ts at carol 'service' tonight?

Finally, WHY isn't Kerry Needham an 'ambassador' for Missing People 'charity'?

Kelly, Phillips and McCann 'are', so WHY not Kerry?

So the Needham family are accepting a "Probability Thesis"based on South Yorkshire Police Force findings without any Definitive proof of a Death?
Note,No Martin Grime trained Dogs were used during the search for Ben Needham, that we know of?

Whilst the Needham family call out for help from the public for answers the digger drivers son reports as follows

http://www.itv.com/news/calendar/2017-01-20/son-of-greek-digger-driver-my-father-did-not-kill-ben-needham/

ITV Report
20 January 2017 at 8:35am

Son of Greek digger driver: 'My father did not kill Ben Needham'

The son of the digger driver implicated over the death of Ben Needham on Kos says there is "no evidence" his father killed the Sheffield toddler and covered it up.

In his first television interview with Greek media Valantis Barkas also claimed South Yorkshire Police had apologised for the "trouble" his family had been put through after the allegations about his father, Konstantinos, became public.

Ben, who was 21 months old, went missing in July 1991 after being taken to a remote farmhouse on Kos where his grandfather, Eddie, was carrying out renovations.

But it wasn't until last year that detectives were given Konstantinos Barkas's name following a fresh appeal on the Greek island.

It was claimed the digger driver, who died in 2015, had accidentally killed Ben on the day the 21-month-old went missing in July 1991 before burying his body.

The information led to excavations on the island, which failed to uncover a body but led to the discovery of a toy car he was playing with on the day he vanished.

South Yorkshire Police returned from Kos saying it was their "professional belief" Ben had been killed.

But speaking to Athens-based programme Tatiana Live Valantis Barkas denied his father had anything to do with it.

“We wonder who made this story up. He was very careful while working and never ever caused an accident. No one ever blamed him on Ben's case. He was only accused after he died, so he couldn't defend himself. It's so unfair for him and my family. There's no proof and no one believes it.” – Valantis Barkas

Mr Barkas said his father believed Ben had been abducted and would never have covered up such a crime.

"I have a child I can understand her pain, my father would never do that, he was an honest man."

He said the family had received threats after his father was connected with the case.

He said: "The police officer in charge of the investigation in Kos came to me and apologised for all the trouble my family went through. I told him he can't just fix all this damage with an apology. I want to help but they shouldn't have given out my dead father's name."

South Yorkshire Police have maintained their position.

Det Insp Jon Cousins, who led the excavation in Kos, said: “Based on those facts and the information I have to date, it is still my professional belief that Ben died as a result of a tragic incident at the farmhouse involving heavy machinery."

“The fact that we did not have a direct result during the most recent visit to Kos, does not preclude the facts that we know to be true. Primacy for the investigation lies with the Greek authorities and South Yorkshire Police remain committed to assisting them in any ongoing enquiries they may have.” – Det Insp Jon Cousins, South Yorkshire Police

I mentioned Ben in my question today about why the McCanns had so many high profile people around them so quickly when the cry went up that Madeleine had been "taken".  So I'm just writing here to say we, the ordinary British people, do not forget Ben or his mum and family.  I could not understand why you did not get all the attention the McCanns received.  I'm so sorry for your suffering.  I pray for Ben and for you.  You do have friends among us ordinary people in Britain. Keep strong. With love, Ellie.

Hi Ellie, thanks for your post on Ben Needham. The South Yorkshire Police Forces"Professional Opinion"on Ben Needham has issued a statement on what they "believe"may have happened to Ben,but where is the Proof, based on a "found Toy"having No definitive Proof of the Driver of the digger Truck having an Accident, based on "Hearsay"!?

Ben Needham: Blood found on items in hunt for toddler

Det Insp Cousins added: "It's not evidence, it's intelligence which supports what we believe, that unfortunately and tragically Ben died as a result of an incident at that farmhouse.
"It's my belief that [the findings] corroborate and strengthen that theory."

I'm not buying it.

They have no evidence but they are twisting what they have got, looking it through squinty eyes and saying it confirms the theory.

Read the article and you'll see the BBC headline isn't true.

***'Kos dig' starts 26 Sep 2016*** (was: Kerry Needham 'prepared for worst' by investigators) - Page 18 Empty Ben Needham: Blood found on sandal and inside toy car

Post by sallypelt 24.07.17 10:06

Signs of blood have been found on part of a sandal and on soil inside a toy car recovered by police searching for missing Sheffield toddler Ben Needham.
Ben was 21 months old when he disappeared on the Greek island of Kos in July 1991.
South Yorkshire Police said forensic work was being carried out in Aberdeen to try to extract DNA from the items.
Det Insp Jon Cousins said it was still his "professional belief" Ben died in an accident at the farmhouse.
Live updates and more stories from Yorkshire

Details of the findings have been released on the 26th anniversary of Ben's disappearance.

Ben went missing while playing near a farmhouse, which was being renovated by his grandfather in Iraklis.
An extensive 21-day search of land around the building and a second site 750m (820 yards) away took place in October after it emerged the toddler may have been crushed to death by a digger working on the site.
About 60 items discovered during the search were brought back to the UK for analysis, some of which were sent for testing at the James Hutton Institute in Aberdeen.
Professor Lorna Dawson, head of the soil forensics group, said the team of scientists had discovered the "profile indicative of human blood decomposition on a fragment of a sandal."
The profile had also been found on soil from inside a toy car, however, the stronger signal had been found on the footwear sandal, she said.
Professor Dawson said the discovery was the "chemical finger print" of compounds left behind "when there has been decomposition or decay".
"There's a strong indication from this chemical profile that this was present on those items as a result of blood decomposition," she said.
"It's significant in identifying that there had been a human who had bled in contact with those items.
"The biologist has to come in now and identify who left that blood on that item by extracting the DNA."

Det Insp Cousins said: "Based on the facts and the information obtained, as previously stated it is still my professional belief that Ben died as a result of a tragic incident at the farmhouse involving heavy machinery.
"It's my belief that [the findings] corroborate and strengthen that theory."
The Needham family has been informed and the force would continue to assist the Greek authorities with any ongoing enquiries, South Yorkshire Police said.

"It's not evidence".

Indeed it is not.

It's a square peg being rammed into a round hole.

What isn't evidence, Bluebag? Blood found on a sandal?

Kerry, from Sheffield, added that her anguish has turned to anger following the discovery, as it proves a cover-up which has extended her family’s anger for nearly three decades.

She said: “The really difficult thing about it is trying to understand why these people haven’t come forward.
“They’ve seen myself and my family break down. They could have just told us and wouldn’t have had to have gone through all this trauma.”
The sandal was found in 2012 at the site where Konstantinos “Dino” Barkas was operating a digger, while the car was discovered last year at another spot.
Kerry, 43, is now convinced her child was taken from the site where he was buried before British police returned to carry out a dig there last year.
Mr Barkas is believed to have died from stomach cancer in 2015.
The 21-month toddler disappeared 26 years ago today while visiting his grandparents’ farmhouse on the Greek island of Kos.
Making a fresh appeal for information, Kerry said: “It shows more of a conspiracy because they didn’t find Ben’s body. That proves it to me without doubt they obviously moved him and buried him and for whatever reason dug him up. There’s no other explanation. It’s all been a massive cover-up.
“This confirms what the police have been saying all along. My Ben was killed in an accident. But it also suggests that not only did they kill my boy and bury him where the toy car was found, they then moved him before police got to the site last October.
“What kind of human being does that? It just infuriates me. How can they do such a thing? He was definitely wearing those sandals that day. They were the only ones we could keep on his feet.”

Yes.

It wasn't blood.

It "may" have been blood.

Read the BBC report and see what they actually said.

"Not evidence".

That is a quote.

That is a quote.
Signs of blood have been found on part of a sandal and on soil inside a toy car recovered by police searching for missing Sheffield toddler Ben Needham.

That's more than "may have been blood"

The blood still has to be DNA tested.  My glass is half full on this latest news. I believe that we are about to learn what really happened to Ben, but I await to see what comes out, because I am in no position to say that something IS or NOT true.
