Agreed Sally.  I am forever in awe at those who can converse and indeed write in another language, they are exceptional 'thinkers'.  Apparently, learning a foreign language can open up new areas of the brain.

As for McCann monitors on twitter etc, we can at least challenge their ridiculous assertions without the fear of them physically punching us in the face, something which is never far from their minds.

Yes well said Cristobell.

Everyone here is entitled to their opinion, so please respect that.
Can we also respect that some seasoned members of this forum recognise disruption tactics that are possibly designed to discredit and ridicule the forum by posting ridiculous things in differing language abilities from the same poster.

I really don't care if I am banned from the forum today for my opinion on this matter. I have an issue with someone who posts death, body, corpse, SY know where the body is hidden, grave, tapas 10 (whoever they are), the T7 (that's 10 minus 3) have changed their statements and confessed without any reference to anything.

This is also the same poster who cannot seem to find a single link to anything.

If the forum thinks that this type of post should go unchallenged then that's a sad day for the forum I have been part of for two years.

The internet has been riddled with McCann monitors since May 2007, that much we know courtesy of Michael Wright, though of course many of us have known that for quite some time.  We must all be on our guard.  However, differing opinions must not be seen as disruption - I wouldn't want to be part of a forum ruled by a strict one party line, I doubt any of us would.

I very much enjoy your posts Aguila, but sometimes it is better to err on the side of caution.  Sadly, I think we have all had our views on human nature tainted by this case, but it has been my experience that those brave enough to challenge the McCanns are generally good eggs.

Apologies for the mispelling of your name Aquila, my eyesight is not great.

I apologise too, if my response has come across as patronising. That was not my intention.  I used to be a teacher years ago, and some of the irritating traits have stuck, as my sons keep pointing out!  Like yourself, I think this is a great forum, and it finally looks as though we may finally discover the truth of what went on.  :)

I'm relieved that we have your permission to find them disturbing, having been given that right may we also find them supremely irritating?  Or is that not allowed?

This is a forum to exchange opinions, theories and information. Says it all really.
Y es, of course, Tigger, you may find my posts supremely irritating, go ahead. No problem for me at all.
If it is a forum to also  exchange theories, opinions,  I have mine too.

By chance they seem to be different  and even the opposit to yours and to ayoyo's, but I can not see the problem. We live in a democracy, don't we?

What is irritating in my posts, if I may ask. The fact that I believe that it is not a whitewash? I can't help it. It is my belief.
The police need a concrete proof of the death, the body, not only witnesses statements.Imo, it would not be enough. The culprits would stay 3 days in the police station and freeded because of lack of concrete evidence.

For a moment, short ago, I thought it was a whitewash. But It isn't.

The reality is that we all have to wait and find out who is right and who is wrong.

all in my opinion
Marconi, I find it irritating that you think you have to give us permission to react. I rarely read your posts so the content isn't an issue. Giving permission to people - allowing them to state their opinion on open forum is an issue.

I hope that answers your question. Your English is either very good or only just passable, this is another reason I don't often read your posts. You know words like 'culprit ' and then mistake the past tense of 'freed'.
To put it in  a nutshell: I don't understand why.
the word culprit comes from French, coulpable.   Mea culpa, mea culpa, even protestants know this word.

Is this frum about Madeleine or about grammar?

I really don't care if I am banned from the forum today for my opinion on this matter. I have an issue with someone who posts death, body, corpse, SY know where the body is hidden, grave, tapas 10 (whoever they are), the T7 (that's 10 minus 3) have changed their statements and confessed without any reference to anything.

This is also the same poster who cannot seem to find a single link to anything.

If the forum thinks that this type of post should go unchallenged then that's a sad day for the forum I have been part of for two years.
I've always advocate free speech no problem with that.
I don't understand know why some others take this out of context, and turn it into a language or lack of issue, when it is not about that at all.

It's when poster harp on about body, claiming SY knows where it lies; T7's changed statement/confessed,as in MET's new evidence came from T7, his conviction a T10 exists in the equation,  blah blah  blah, stating them as if facts, when they seemed just over imaginative notions without rationale that's disturbing.
Definitely not a sign of someone with insider info as one poster posited, not IMO anyway.
You would recognise info as bearing insider knowledge or not by the quality of the info wouldn't you?

Because simple logic dictates that if the MET has had a helping hand from T7 or knew where about the body lies, then ask yourself why they would waste time with the costly and difficult recon, or embark on the cumbersome route of trawling phone data involving 31 countries.

You have to appreciate the sheer scale of what SY has to go through to get to the bottom of it all is such a painstaking process. And, you've to give them due credit that they possessed qualities of diligence, intelligence and wisdom that they know what they're doing.  What they wouldn't be doing is go on a wild goose chase for clues when they already have in possession vital evidence extracted from the T7 through interviews, or possibly even willingness delivered to their doorsteps by the main players, as Marconi impressed upon us.

To compound the ridiculousness, Marconi said SY could be lying about the recon and trawling - HA??
Can someone explain the logic in that argument?  Is that a plausible?

It's posts of this nature, stating them as if facts that is disturbing, that devalues this forum and makes us look ridiculous if not blanket laughing stock.

There I have said it. Hope it does not offend anyone or get anyone banned, I am against ban,
I just wish people debate more responsibly.

My response:
What I don't understand and as somebody posted yesterday, WHY if they have new leads don't they hold a press conference and let the public know straight away.   Why couldn't they have put the Crimewatch prog. on tonight?

As for the direct appeal from the parents - yes, let's hope that the cops have body language experts watching.

I don't think I can watch this prog.   Have not watched any of their mutterings in the past.  Will check on here and see what the verdict is then look at the youtube links.

Would be good if a kind hearted sole could post on the forum at the time and let us know whether it is worth watching or whether it is the usual carp.

CRIMEWATCH RECONSTRUCTION - However, Kate and Gerry have banned the re-enactment of their daughter’s disappearance from taking place in Portugal through fear of angering the country’s police. - Page 9 Empty Real Rescues BBC1 - Child found behind sofa

Post by Newintown 07.10.13 14:21

I don't where to post this so will put it here, perhaps admin can move it if necessary.

I was watching BBC1's Real Rescues earlier presented by Nick Knowles, it's a new series made this year, it shows rescues by ambulance crews, firefighters, police etc.  He presents it from the emergency services headquarters where emergency staff take the phone calls.

In between showing the films of real rescues he talks to some of the staff regarding different phone calls and situations they've dealt with and one person said she had a phone call from a distraught mother who's daughter, who was 4 at the time, had gone missing.  The mother said that one minute the girl was playing in the back garden then she'd just vanished.  She said she'd hunted all over the house for her and couldn't find her anywhere.

However, when the police arrived and searched the house they found the girl unconscious behind the sofa.  Eventually it was established that she'd climbed on the back of the sofa, slipped and banged her head on the windowsill, knocking herself out.  Luckily she did recover OK.

I just thought it was strange that that particular item was shown on the programme at this time, one week before the Crimewatch programme, coincidence or not?  winkwink

It's had 12,000-plus views in less than 2 days.

All the Madeleine McCann websites, forums and blogs etc. are reporting surges in 'hits' - and Madeleine YouTube videos are also receiving hugely increased viewings

Dr Martin Roberts: "The evidence is that these are the pjyamas Madeleine wore on holiday in Praia da Luz. They were photographed and the photo handed to a press agency, who released it on 8 May, as the search for Madeleine continued. The McCanns held up these same pyjamas at two press conferences on 5 & 7June 2007. How could Madeleine have been abducted?"

Amelie McCann (aged 2): "Maddie's jammies!".

I just thought it was strange that that particular item was shown on the programme at this time, one week before the Crimewatch programme, coincidence or not?  winkwink
I have often wondered if the McCanns found Madeleine behind the couch after they announced she was missing.  It has always bothered me that Smith thought he saw Gerry McCann, and that the pale skinned child that family saw being carried was barefoot!  I don't think they would have done it that way if they'd planned it all at an earlier time. It's as if she was scooped up fast and moved away from the premises.   Their story seems as if it was desperately concocted after the event and backfitted.  jmo.

Oh dear gerry you have put your feet in your mouth haven't you

You mention about kids cry when they are getting bathed, when they are tired, when we are doing that and then he says
" And we did wonder if that was when they were being put to bed

The brain knows what it knows and wants to tell the truth.

So gerry, who was putting them to bed if it wasn't you and kate?
If it had been either of you then the question would never have arisen as you would have been there.

This leads to the question of if they were being put to bed in apt 5a where were you and kate and who was putting them to bed?

If you and kate were in apt 5a where were the children being put to bed and again by whom?
Sorry to come back to this so late but it's taken me 3 hours to catch up on all the threads on the forum!  big grin

I can't get any sound on these youtube videos for some reason Hobs but did Gerry actually say "bed" because on the McCannfiles, there is the transcript of the interview with Dermot Murnaghan of Sky News from 1 May 08 and Gerry states "Was it when when they were bathing".  The video has been deleted but all the transcript is there.  It's the 3rd para down -

So that would indicate that the McCanns were not there when the children were being bathed and put to bed, so who did or was bathing them and putting them to bed???

McCann now top headline on Sky.

Scotland Yard Commissioner Mark Rowley says he hopes Crimewatch will produce new witnesses, but a conclusion to the case "is not imminent!"

I had exactly the same problem with no sound on Youtube Newintown.  I eventually found a button for my person stuff on Youtube that had the sound turned down to 0.  I moved it back up the scale and problem was solved.  Hope that helps :)
