Witness incriminates Christian B. heavily:
"He climbed into an open window. He didn't find money. But a child. He asked if you could take DNA from bones and if I could set fire on a house on the countryside."

WE must always remember that very large numbers of long term prisoners are mentally unstable and a lot live in a parallel universe where crime and punishment are not linked, where there. is no such things as a code of Morals or decency. Truth is an unknown concept, and revenge is the only thing which exists in their future.

1) no open window visible behind closed shutters.
2) "a child - the child" , there were allegedly three children in the bedroom. (Maddie was already dead 22 hours, but let's play along).
3) two hours later CB could not know what was going on in Luz, as he was having sex in his van in Carvoeiro, with his alibi...
4) Luz is not a place for rich people.

People who can't afford to go on holiday would think it was luxury, I wouldn't rule it out myself.
I don't think the McCann's and tapas lot cared much about luxury even though they could afford to stay somewhere much more expensive.
I think the main priority was the amount of childcare and sports facilities the Ocean Club offered so early in the season.

After brilliantly eviscerating the Labour MP whose turn it was in the chair she listened to the report on the
M Case and then said to camera, [words to the effect . ]
"But the police found th window locked from the inside . . . I suppose they'll have a look at that !"
I'll see if it comes up again and try to record her actual words

I am thinking that I am in a parallel universe PeterMac. I was under the impression that this man, though a criminal was nothing to do with Madeleine McCann. Strange too the query about the bones of a buried person and dna of another being found on the deceased.PeterMac wrote:Hotels for rich people, open window, went in to steal GOLD, but took a child instead . . .

However, Laurentiu Codin, 50, a Romanian convict and biogas plant worker who was in the same prison as Brückner for a period in 2020, said Brückner had confessed to kidnapping a “kid” on the Algarve.
Speaking through an interpreter and occasionally appearing to ramble, Codin said Brückner had visited his cell and taken him into his confidence because he mistook him for a fellow paedophile.
“[Brückner] told me that in Portugal, that he had stolen there,” Codin told Braunschweig regional court. “He was in a region of hotels where people are there, not sure how you say, rich people, where rich people live

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
We went from An abductor, to a paedophile, to a paedophile ring, to a couple, to someone watching them for the whole week and “Making notes”, to . . .
Well anything else she could think of to draw attention away from the fact that there was no evidence at all to support their original claim.
They were in a desperate situation as their story fell apart, and resorted to forging photos, planting ludicrous stories in Women’s magazines,
And everything else, as we well remember.

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
They were stopped by the police on the way to the airport and the girl was found with a pepper spray or some such thing and a police report was made so that is definitely the truth.
Does this sound like the actions of someone who abducted and killed Madeleine, then spent the night in his van with a girl and then drove her to the airport the day after?

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
Is the witness credible?
The fact that he now started to tell of kidnapped and abused children were surprised by the public prosecutor herself. Especially since the witness had claimed before the lunch break, he hardly remembers anything.
His remarks became all the more precise after the break. In connection with the kidnapping of the child, Brückner asked him for advice, said the witness: "He said that he had supported himself when he jumped out of the window. He then asked me if he could have left his traces on the window ledge.”
Senior State Attorney Ute Lindemann pointed out to the witness that he had testified before differently to the police: Brückner had asked him if his DNA traces could be found on bones underground. True, the witness remembered: “I don’t know whether he is concerned to the child. But he asked me that.”

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
None of the Main stream Media or the gutter press bothered to report the rest of the evidence presented to the court
We are indebted to Isabelle for her FB posting of what happened next.
Did Jon Clarke report on this ?
He won't let me access his rag, so if anyone can we would all be grateful for the sordid details
Small wonder that the prosecution tried to get Judge Ute Engemenn chucked off the case. She asks too many questions !
And again we are left wondering . . Who told him or paid him or threatened him to tell this ludicrous story ?
Who is controlling him, and who is controlling Clarke ?
