A post-mortem was carried out on Saturday, marconi, but as yet the results have not been made public.

Eddie, the cadaverine scenting dog, sadly died last year. Eddie's replacement is either in the process of being trained by Martin Grimes or is now operational. Keela, the blood scenting dog, continues to perform her valuable work.

Rest his little soul. 3 years of age! What must go through the parents' mind when they look down at the lifeless body of his/her child? But to think that the death is the result of the child's mother, it leaves me speechless.

I have removed the "offending lines" but it's MSM saying that the mother is charged with murder, not me. As for Gerry McCann saying "find the body and proved we killed her" speaks volumes. Yes, "lesser mortals" have been convicted without a body, but we all know, that without a body it's extremely difficult, especially when there's a mighty machine in operation.

With reference to Operation Grange, I suspect that Andy Redwood has discounted that theory as possibly being 'one reading of the case' and that the perpetrator(s) of the heinous crimes against Madeleine McCann will face similar charges to those levied aganst Mikaeel's mother.

As the child's mother has not been tried and convicted your 3rd, and 4th sentences are in breach of sub judice, sally, and I would suggest you delete them.

With regard to GM's words, the wee one would do well to remember there have been numerous successful prosecutions for murder in cases where no bodies have been found.

Quite so, but pixillating a picture of someone who has been in the news for days doesn't seem to contribute much to a fair trial
Rather like publishing the full name and address and photo of the girl who ran off with the teacher, and then suddenly pretending that we were not allowed to know who she was
as soon as they got back and he was charged.
If the girl had been a witness in the case her identify was already known. It is still out there on the internet or anyone who wishes to look up "speech defects".
In the modern world once a name is out there you cannot get it back, and to pretend otherwise surely makes the law look slightly silly

But surely the purpose of this law is to protect people whose identities haven't become public domain. Sure, it looks silly in cases like this and that girl whose name I remember but can't mention, but that's just how it goes. The law is there to protect everyone else. But I'm no legal expert :)

A far cry from this:

To this:

It has to try, no one doubts that, but it still lives in the era of fountain pens and barristers carrying their briefs in cloth bags through the streets.
It is taking a long time to come into the 20th century, let alone the present.

ads anything to a fair trial.
She has been identified, arrested, and charged, so her identity is not in issue, not her facial characteristics.
Her name indicates her ethnic background and roots, so again that cannot be the issue.

It is rather like the stupidity of papers paying for those pastel sketches done in court and then published next to the photo of the person concerned.
What is the point - of doing the sketch, I mean.
This sort of thing, from the DM, which is one grab, not two photos, they were published exactly like this
