Braunschweig.
The case surrounding the disappearance of Madeleine "Maddie" McCann is currently causing a stir again. While the main suspect Christian B. is currently on trial for other sexual offences, it is said that an important witness has now emerged in the Maddie case. A house has even been surrounded by the police. This was reported by the British newspaper The Sun, among others, and German media jumped on the bandwagon.
RegionalHeute.de enquired with the Braunschweig public prosecutor's office. Senior public prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters, who is in charge of the case, was unable to confirm the rumours, however.
According to him, there are currently no searches or similar measures in connection with the Maddie case. He had only just spoken to the police investigating the case shortly before we made the phone call. He was not aware of any such operation. He also could not explain where the statements in the media had come from. However, the issue would continue to cause great emotion, especially in England. As usual, the public prosecutor's office does not comment on details relating to the investigation into the Maddie case.

This makes now three independant German outlets confirming with HCW personally that all these Stories are made up and have no basis in fact or reality.

A VAN uncovered by The Sun is being probed by the German FBI for child-snatching links to Madeleine McCann suspect Christian Brueckner.
The BKA is bidding to trace the white Mercedes Sprinter we revealed parked at the sicko’s woodland lair after Maddie vanished.
Brueckner is believed to have had a white Mercedes van in Portugal at the time the tot was abducted, in 2007 - although it is not clear if the vehicles are one and the same.
Feds want to examine the Mercedes - shown to have belonged to the convicted paedophile - amid hopes it could still contain DNA or crucial clues.
An employee at the garage which took the van when Brueckner was finished with it said: “We cleaned it and repaired it but it wouldn’t have been wiped of all DNA.
“There could still be hairs and other traces of anyone who was kept inside.
“Due to data protection issues we cannot give you exact dates or further details of the client.”
An official request has been made to the Rosier dealership in Braunschweig, which leased the van to Brueckner between 2014 and 2015.
“We are onto this now and appreciate the tip,” said a BKA source. “We are getting in touch with the Rosier garage today.”
Prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters said: “I know that the white Sprinter information has been passed on to the BKA."
As well as any links to Maddie, it is now thought Brueckner owned the vehicle at the time German Maddie, Inga Gehricke, vanished in forest in Saxony-Anhalt, in 2015.
Brueckner was initially looked at in connection with the disappearance in 2016 and 2020 - after he had an accident an hour away before the case was dropped.
Little Inga Gehricke vanished on May 2, 2015, from a family picnic in a wooded area of Wilhelmshof.
Like Maddie - who went missing in 2007 - she disappeared leaving almost no clues, sparking the largest missing persons search in German history.
The only clue was the sighting of a ‘white Sprinter van’ driving down a track through woods at the exact time.
The case however, remains open and he hasn’t been officially discounted.
At the time of her disappearance, Brueckner, 47, was living on and off at his derelict factory in Neuwegersleben, just 90 kilometres away.
He was unable to give an alibi for the day and the day before he had an accident in nearby Helmstedt, just an hour away.
A friend of Brueckner’s told the Sun: “He drove around Europe with it and even took a girlfriend to Portugal and Spain with it.
“I went in it a few times with him, even to the box factory, and he used it all the time to move his stolen goods around.”
Brueckner was known to store vehicles at the factory in Neuwegersleben.
He bought the lot in former communist East Germany in 2010 and is believed to have also lived in a trailer there.
A 2016 police search uncovered disturbing images and videos on memory cards in a Lidl plastic bag there beneath the corpse of one of his dogs.
Clothing including swimwear in children’s sizes were also found.
Multiple sources confirmed at least two other vehicles had come back from Portugal with Brueckner.
The owner of the scrapyard, who did not want to be named, previously told The Sun on Sunday: “German law requires that you keep all records for at least ten years.
“But the thing is, none of the police divisions came round to ask us anything, which you could say is surprising.”
Brueckner is in jail in Germany for rape and also now on trial for other rape and child abuse charges which have emerged as part of the Madeleine investigation.
He denies any involvement in Madeleine’s disappearance.

Why on earth would a garage employee say this?
“We cleaned it and repaired it but it wouldn’t have been wiped of all DNA.

Auto Haus Rosier has only been Registered as a Business in Braunschweig since the 01.10.2015. They first moved there from another location in February 2016.
Brückner rented the Blue roofed Hut in the Kennelblick Allotment from Oct 2013-April 2016.
So it would have been impossible to sell him a Van in 2006 to drive to Portugal in.

the Rosier dealership in Braunschweig, which leased the van to Brueckner between 2014 and 2015.
Is that clear ?
But then Jon Clarke gets in on the action
Brueckner is believed to have had a white Mercedes van in Portugal at the time the tot was abducted, in 2007 - although it is not clear if the vehicles are one and the same.
Clarke CANNOT prevent himself trying to fit everything, real or invented, into his obsession
We already have Brücker with
a VW camper van - possibly two
a Tiffin Allegro mobile home (the "Winnebago" - which it isn't)
a Jaguar XJ something or other
and NOW a white Mercedes Sprinter
All of which are reported to have been taken back to Germany to be scrapped - which then involved return flights . . . or perhaps be bought another car in Germany each time drive back in.
This is whilst being a "Head Waiter" in PdL, living like a hippy in the back of a van, or possibly in PdL itself only metres away from the Ocean Club, or in Foral in the secret hideway on the urbanisation.
Can anyone else keep up with all this ?
Not to mention the BKA doing searches and armed raids to collect evidence for a trial which is ALREADY in Day 5.
In my service I was taught you collected the evidence FIRST, then charged, then put on trial where you presented the evidence you had.
This is Alice in Wonderland stuff.
"'Let the jury consider their verdict,' the King said, for about the twentieth time that day.
'No, no!' said the Queen. 'Sentence first—verdict afterwards.'
'Stuff and nonsense!' said Alice loudly. 'The idea of having the sentence first!'
Is that clear ?

Inga G disappearance was on 2 May 2015.
So this Van can have nothing to do with her either.
Especially since Brückner is no longer a Suspect in her case.
The Mercedes Sprinter model shown by the Sun was made sometime between 1995-2002?
Also a bit old to be a Leased vehicle?

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
Jon is STILL claiming the White Mercedes Van has something to do with the Case.
After a tip off from the Olive Press, detectives from the BKA headquarters in Wiesbaden said they intended to inspect the top-of-the-range Mercedes Sprinter that Brueckner drove for a number of years.
Police confirmed this week that a request was being made to the official Rosier Mercedes dealership in Braunschweig.
They want to take possession of the van, which was pictured (see pic) at Brueckner’s derelict box factory, in Neuwegersleben, just 90 kilometres from where Inga vanished.
An employee at the Mercedes garage in Gartenstadt, confirmed to the Olive Press that it might still have DNA traces of ‘anyone kept inside’.
A female employee confirmed that Brueckner had rented the van with them, but could not give out any specific details due to data protection laws.
“But we are fully aware of the name Brueckner and are happy to give the details to the police,” she confirmed.
“They only need to make an official request and we can give them the details and they can fully inspect it.”
She added: “We cleaned it and repaired it but it wouldn’t have been wiped of all DNA.
“There could still be hairs and other traces of anyone who was kept inside.”
Sex offender Brueckner, 47, was officially investigated over his involvement in the Inga case in 2016 and again in 2020 but police could find no concrete links.
A friend of Brueckner’s told the Olive Press:
“He had the white Sprinter for years, from around 2013 to the end of 2015, if not early 2016, I think.”
The pal, who worked at his kiosk/bar in Braunschweig, added: “He drove around Europe with it and even took a girlfriend to Portugal and Spain with it.
“I went in it a few times with him, even to the box factory, and he used it all the time to move his stolen goods around.
“He had regular routes around Germany, south to Italy and through France and Spain.
“Then suddenly he decided to give it back.
“It only cost 315 euros a month, but he claimed he had got behind in the payments and the garage was demanding it back.
“He’s not stupid and knew the garage would get the police onto him if he didn’t give it back.”
He continued that ‘like all his vehicles’ the van had considerable damage and was dirty.
“He had quite a few accidents with it and there were lots of scratches. He was always driving drunk,” he claimed. “I expect the garage bosses were pretty angry at its state.”
This week, a police officer at the BKA told the Olive Press: “We are onto this now and appreciate the tip. We are getting in touch with the Rosier garage.”

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
We may have reached the point at which we need to consider whether Clarke has a recognisable psychoiogical or psychiatric condition. A pathological detachment from reality. In which case he is to be pitied.
“He had the white Sprinter for years, from around 2013 to the end of 2015, if not early 2016, I think.”
Even Clarke knows, or should remember that whatever befell Madeleine took place in 2007. He should remember, because he was there and became part of the story.
Brückner, and Fülscher need to be very careful however that something relating to any other case between 2013 and 2015/6 is not suddenly and mysteriously "discovered" in the van. We recall that Clarke is on record in his book as raising the possiblity / making the allegation that DNA and blood were planted by the PJ in the McCann's car.

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
There are a couple of problems with the Reporting looking back.
The Van was referred to in previous Reports as being a 205D Model.
The 205D is a Saloon Car, not a Van!
The Sun Van looks to be an early Model Sprinter from 1995-2002.
Vans leased by Rosier are all less than 9 Years old and must have less than 150,000 KMs.
Rosier only took over the Braunschweig Mercedes Offices in Feb 2016 and had it renovated in 2021.
Brückner would have found it hard with his Criminal Record to Lease or Credit anything. Rosier would have Credit checked him out before giving him a Smart!

MADDIE LINK: IS NEW HUNT FOR MISSING INGA GEHRICKE LINKED TO WHITE VAN ONCE LEASED BY CHIEF MADELEINE MCCANN SUSPECT CHRISTIAN BRUECKNER?
EXCLUSIVE INVESTIGATION By Jon Clarke and Rainer Burkard in Saxony
By Staff Reporter -22 Mar, 2024 @ 17:100
FOR five days this month, around 70 police officers have scoured deep woodland around a charity facility that ran programmes for sex offenders in Germany.
They hope to find clues to what happened to five-year-old Inga Gehricke, often described as the ‘German Maddie’.
And it is not just that the two girls looked so similar that brought the comparison to Madeleine McCann, who vanished, age 3, during a family holiday in Portugal in 2005: both of them vanished at the beginning of May and both disappeared without almost a single trace.
In the case of Inga, she had been helping prepare for a family barbecue next to the Wilhelmshof facility, run by a church charity called Diakonie, which sits isolated in the heart of a forest, near the village of Uchtspringe, in Saxony
Still missing – Inga Gehricke
It was May 2, 2015, and she had gone off to get sticks from the woods that surrounded a picnic area next to where the charity is based.
She never came back and the only evidence of her abduction was a scream reported by a local farmer and a witness who spotted a white van driving away down a narrow lane around the time.
This vehicle has never been identified, but today, it can be revealed, detectives might just be one step closer to solving the mystery.
German cops are making a request to impound a white van being driven by Maddie suspect Christian Brueckner at the time Inga vanished.

Sex offender Brueckner, 47, was officially investigated over his involvement in the Inga case in 2016 and again in 2020 but police could find no concrete links.

At the time of her disappearance, he was living on and off at his derelict factory, where police later found a giant hoard of child pornography, some 8,000 films and photos, on eight storage devices.
Kept in a Lidl bag buried under the dead body of his dog, Charlie, they featured around 100 files that he appeared in (see photo).
Nearby in a larger winnebago he slept in, they found clothing, including swimming costumes in children’s sizes.
Furthermore, the convicted paedophile was unable to give an alibi for May 2 and the day before, he was involved in a traffic accident in Helmstedt, just an hour away.
Traffic cops got involved when Brueckner clipped a car at the Helmstedt service station on the A2 motorway.
A source told the Olive Press that he believes Brueckner attended an official rehabilitation programme for paedophiles at the Diakonie charity facility.
The Wilhelmshof facility
“Police told me he kept in touch with one of the staff at the facility,” said the source. “He had a friend there. I’m trying to confirm a name.”
Despite attempts we were unable to get further information on the sex offenders programme or apparent links to Brueckner from Diakonie.
Brueckner however, became a suspect in the Inga case in 2016, three years after officially being first asked to answer questions over his involvement in the Maddie case.
He was probed again in 2020, after being confirmed as the official suspect in the ‘murder’ of Maddie, in Praia da Luz, on the Algarve.
A friend of Brueckner’s told the Olive Press: “He had the white Sprinter for years, from around 2013 to the end of 2015, if not early 2016, I think.”

Brueckner, who is serving a seven-year prison sentence for the rape of a pensioner, is currently on trial for five other sex offences, three against children, all taking place in Portugal between 2000 and 2017.
The trial in Braunschweig has just been extended for up to 12 more days and running into October.
As well as three new dates in August, lawyers must also make themselves available on July 5, three dates in September and four in October running up until October 22.
The disappearance of Inga Gehricke became the largest missing persons search in German history, so far involving 1,500 police and emergency personnel.
After complaints of corruption and failures to follow up leads the case was taken away from police in Stendal and handed to a new team in nearby Halle last year.
Police on their latest search for Inga
Today marks the fifth day cops have searched for clues to her disappearance this month alone.
Starting at 8am and continuing to 2pm the teams of officers and dogs have so far found nothing.
“But with every search we expand the area in which we are looking,” BKA police spokesman Alexander Junghans explained to Bild.
“We just hope to find further clues related to the disappearance of little Inga.”
Prosecutor Thomas Kramer, in charge of the probe said in December: “Police investigators from Halle continue to evaluate all documents, clues and evidence found so far.”

JC Fantasy:
She never came back and the only evidence of her abduction was a scream reported by a local farmer and a witness who spotted a white van driving away down a narrow lane around the time.
Truth:
The Wilhelmshof Site was so far out in the Countryside, surrounded by Woods that no other Witnesses heard or saw anything. The children she was collecting Firewood with lost sight of her and heard nothing.
After months of standstill, the authorities in Stendal 2019 decide to set up a new investigation team that will examine the work done so far and develop alternative investigative approaches.
But that doesn't happen.
Practically overnight, the planned investigation group is converted into an "test group". It no longer looks at the entire case, but is only supposed to investigate the suspicion of whether there is a connection between the disappearance of Inga Gehricke and the case of the British girl Maddie McCann, who disappeared in Portugal in 2007, in which a German is suspected. It is unclear why the establishment of the investigation team was prevented in the short term. Neither the Stendal police nor the local public prosecutor's office answers a question from the Tagesspiegel.

The will to connect Brückner at any cost with Inga is clear.
Even at the expense of ignoring the other Suspect.

Clarke is clearly borderline bonkers. Obsessive Compulsive Bruueeeckner Disorder
"An employee at the Mercedes garage in Gartenstadt, confirmed to the Olive Press that it might still have DNA traces of ‘anyone kept inside’."
Well yes. And of anyone who leased it before, and anyone who leased it in the 9 YEARS since. Anyone who climbed into the back and skinned a knuckle, or spat on the floor, or shed a few skin cells, or anything else for that matter.
He had it for only 2 years. 2013-2015

Madeleine McCann suspect Christian Brueckner is ruled out of probe into missing 'German Maddie' who vanished aged five during family picnic in 2015
Inga Gehricke - dubbed Germany 's Madeleine McCann - vanished in 2015
Despite five years of police appeals and a reward, she has still yet to be found
Brueckner - prime suspect in the McCann case - was said to be working nearby
But prosecutors have now dropped the Gehricke investigation in relation to him

The chief suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has been ruled out of an investigation into a missing five-year-old German girl.
Inga Gehricke - dubbed Germany's Madeleine McCann - vanished near a factory that Christian Brueckner, a convicted paedophile and rapist, was working on.
But in a blow to the Madeleine's parents and investigators, Germany prosecutors have said that 44-year-old had nothing to do with Gehricke's disappearance.
The German girl vanished in 2015 during a family picnic close to the derelict factory being renovated by Brueckner.
Despite five years of police appeals and a reward of 25,000 euros (£21,500) offered for information leading to her whereabouts, Inga has never been found - as is the case with Madeleine McCann.
'The public prosecutor's office has thoroughly examined connections to the Inga case and determined there isn't even an initial suspicion against my client,' Brueckner's lawyer told The Sun.
Investigators searched the factory and found 8,000 images of children buried in a plastic bag under Brueckner's dead dog Charlie.
Lawyers representing the Gehricke family said that they stayed at a nearby house in May 2015, and the day before Inga disappeared, police records placed Brueckner at a nearby motorway service station where he had a parking-related accident.
Brueckner - who is currently imprisoned for a separate crime - is thought to have commuted between the factory on Neuwegersleben and to Braunschweig, around 35 miles away.
But despite the link, Thomas Kramer, a spokesperson for the prosecutor's office in Stendal, told the newspaper: 'The investigation of Christian B regarding Inga's disappearance is currently closed.
'Police investigations have been conducted but they have not produced any facts to suggest that Christian B. could have abducted, abused or killed Inga.
'Therefore, even after this additional research, there was no initial suspicion against Chrisitan B., so that the preliminary proceedings were discontinued.'
Prosecutors in Madeleine's case have said they have 'concrete evidence' she was dead, and have also linked Brueckner with a string of child kidnappings that date back several years.
But despite this, Brueckner has not been questioned by any police service about Madeleine's disappearance in 2007.
Madeleine was nearly four when she went missing from her family's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, on Portugal's Algarve, on May 3, 2007.
Brueckner was told last November that he will remain behind bars until 2026, after losing a bid to overturn a rape conviction.
He was last year found guilty of the 2005 rape of a 72-year-old American woman in the same Portuguese resort and sentenced to seven years in a Hanover jail, at a court in Brunswick, Lower Saxony.
The 43-year-old German national - referred to as Christian B in Germany due to the country's strict privacy laws - was identified as a suspect in the Madeleine investigation last June.
Madeleine was nearly four when she went missing from her family's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, on Portugal's Algarve, on May 3, 2007.
In December, Scotland Yard confirmed it has no plans to end its missing person investigation, despite the belief of German prosecutors that Madeleine was murdered.
Christian Brueckner is the prime suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann in 2007. Pictured: A timeline showing his movements up until 2020 where he remain in a Kiel prison
Brueckner was previously remanded at the prison in Kiel ahead of 2019's trial for raping the elderly American woman. She was attacked just two years before Madeleine disappeared from the same Algarve resort.
In November, a court in Karslruhe rejected Brueckner's appeal against the 2005 rape conviction and confirmed his seven-year sentence.
The move should make it easier for detectives in Braunschweig, around 15 minutes' drive away, to question Brueckner about the Madeleine case, as well as two others.
Keeping prisoners is expensive and under Germany's federal system the states are obliged to deal with their own prisoners rather than it being handled by a central judiciary.
Brueckner was seen in public for the first time in November since he was named as the prime suspect in Madeleine's disappearance by German police being loaded into an ambulance
German media says Brueckner received at least two criminal convictions from a Hanover court, one for forging documents in 2010 and another for theft in 2013.
He split his time between Germany and Portugal from 2013 to 2015, prosecutors in Hanover have said.
Brueckner lived in the Algarve for much of the period from 1995 to 2007, and German prosecutors say he received a phone call from a Portuguese number around the time of Madeleine's disappearance in May 2007.
He made a living doing odd jobs in the area where Madeleine disappeared, and was also known to have burgled hotel rooms and holiday flats.
Madeleine was just three years old when she disappeared while on holiday in Praia da Luz in Portugal's Algarve region with her parents Kate and Gerry McCann (pictured together)
Weeks after an allotment search, authorities indicated they had been looking for digital storage devices, but Brueckner's lawyer accused them of 'desperation'.
Since taking the lead in the case earlier this year, German police have struggled to explain what evidence they have about Madeleine's disappearance.
In November, a leaked memo revealed that Portuguese investigators were 'shocked' by the lack of concrete evidence after being briefed on the case against Brueckner.
Before that, there was confusion about whether German authorities had specific evidence that Madeleine was dead, as they initially implied they did.
In the UK, the case remains a missing persons inquiry, as there's no 'definitive evidence whether Madeleine is alive or dead'

Even after trying to Triangulate his Mobile phone records, they could not establish if Brückner had ever been near Wilhelmshof.
Previous Reports that he stole Solar panels from there, that were found at Neuwegersleben, or visited a friend at the Wilhelmshof have all been apparrently invented by the Press.

That wouldn't surprise me at all, they are bound and determined to keep him in prison, not a bad thing, he is not a good person.
But it should be for something he is definately guilty of and not for something he didn't do.

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
Clarence and Martin have been invited to Germany by RTL+ TV Station.
After a good 13 years, the disappearance of Madelaine McCann is once again making global headlines. Is the German Christian B., a sex offender with multiple convictions, actually the murderer of the then three-year-old Maddie? Today RTL is presenting the RTL special: “The truth in the Maddie case – Insiders unpack”. Very different people, all of whom have been familiar with the case for a long time and intensively, are revealing previously unpublished insider knowledge here for the first time. These include Clarence Mitchell, the long-time spokesman for the McCann family, Sky News correspondent Martin Brunt, who has closely followed the case from the beginning, and profiler Axel Petermann, who paints a unique picture of the suspect.
Will the trail actually lead to Christian B. in the end? What other dark secrets does he have? The RTL Special offers a completely new perspective on the search for clues in the case of Maddie McCann.
In addition, on June 9th. the new documentary "The Maddie Case - Do They Finally Have the Perpetrator?" on TVNOW online, which deals with the latest findings on the missing Madeleine McCann case.
