Whilst perusing the Angel 4 The Lost's (Stacy Pearson) Facebook Page, I came across a link to The Official Find Madeleine Campaign. It was set up at the time the Viral Vid was released in early Nov last year and it's prime purpose appears to be to target students - both Kate and Gerry post regular updates, pleading for students to give them information and help them in their search. Click on the posts to read the feedback but make sure you have a sick bucket nearby.

Even their highly paid 'supposed to be professionals' PIs couldnt find anything.
Yet they expect 'amateurish' students to help them find Madeleine.

If it is about facebook as a tool, what's stopping them starting their own facebook accounts for that purpose.
Facebook is FOC, no need to continue to pay their bogus PIs.
They could even get their family members, tapas chummies, friends, and cult followers to start facebook accounts to suit their purpose. Come on, it's not about finding Madeleine, they are latching onto that (facebook) as a smoke screen to pretend they are still searching - they'd to, else the legality of the fund will strangle them eventually.

Hey, wait a minute....... the Fund! Their link directs students to the Fund isnt it?
Is that part of the changed strategy they talked about? Is that why the directors fall out?

They are despicable and disgusting.

On the bright side, this Facebook scheme seems to me like a bit of a no-brainer. Most students haven't got 2 pence to rub together and, imo, once they are done with lighting virtual candles, releasing virtual balloons and sending mawkish messages to K and G, they will move on to saving the poor whale that got caught in a fishing net off the Shetland Isles - does anyone have an update on that story, last I heard it would take many months before it could be freed?

I just wonder what makes a father or mother dope their children to sleep. There was a time where poor people would give their children alchool instead... to get'em warm in the cold nights! hi admin , you say your concern is madeleine yet you have allowed people to be fooled into believing madeleine was taken by an abductor. this according to clarence mitchell the mccanns spokesman is not the fact. madeleine is missing but there are 100s of facts that suggest the mccanns have lied and therefore you are not really looking for the truth of what happened to this young girl. all i hear from people like yourself is we want to believe she can be found. you must know there are facts available yet you decide that the parents protection comes before the child itself. this is very unfair to madeleine , she deserves justice. i realise you think a prayer will bring her home but the fact is it wont. i have stuck with this case because people are beng lied to and the mccanns have wasted millions of pounds which could have been donated to find the other thousands of missing children that dont get a mention. come on get a grip of reality. read the facts and put madeleine first . The link in question (posted below) States 7 cases of missing children /teenagers

Case 1, Three year old girl taken by her father

Case 2, Three year old girl abducted by her father

Case 3, two year old boy abducted by his father

Case 4, 13 year old girl - ran away Her neighbor, a 35 year-old married man was sexually exploiting her

Case 5, The two teenage girls, both 16 years old - their school had asked for their parents telephone numbers,They became frightened and did not return home[/i]

Case 6, 14-year-old mentally disabled boy- Went to a cafe with his 18 yr old neighbour (mother was aware of this although although hesitant, she relented) He was with the 18 yr old all along and not a stranger

Case 7, 11-year-old boy- his parents decided to take the risk and pay smugglers to transport 11-year-old to join his brothers in the UK

So the FB page is Thankful for a link, for missing children all returned and all cases apart from no 5 ( the teenage girls went off on their own free wil,l with some Albanian men) The people who the children were with were either abducted by a family member or with someone known to the family

michael- Kate and Gerry have you thought about going down the "Reward" route again? As far as I know the reward offered by the ‘News Of The World’ and other benefactors are still available. Now that it's been nearly four years, those responsible for Madeleine's abduction and I believe there was more than one, could well have gone their separate ways or even fallen out with one another. The more people that where involved in her abduction the more likely that after four years, cracks could well have appeared and someone will come forward to claim the reward. I also realise that some timewasters will claim to know her whereabouts but I believe it the correct way to go at this time. God Bless xx

elaine- I agree with Michael. I recently read an article about cold cases and the police interviewed said that it's often a change in relationships between people or a change in status of a criminal that encourages people to disclose information that they previously witheld. I was just wondering about the rewards recently. Are the rewards given only if someone is arrested or charged or is it given if it leads to Madeleine? I also think people can be reluctant to give information in case the IP address of the computer they email from or the phone they use is traced backed to them. It may be an obvious thing to state but people can be funny and i think it's no harm to say that this won't happen on an appeal poster.
