Just passing this on FWIW.

I spoke to Leicestershire Police this morning, their number is 0116 222 2222 BTW.

I said I had some information relating to disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

They told me that the normal procedure for this type of 'phone call is for the person taking the call on 222 2222 to make a note of the information and it will be passed on to the Investigation Team.

In enquiring further into who was the current 'Senior Investigating Officer' in the case, I was informed that this was Detective Inspector Mick Graham.

Observation: That's a low rank for an active investigation into the world's most famous-ever missing child.

Did you really have some information to pass them or were you just trying to get the name of the senior investigating officer?

eta: he's already known in the police case files

I am writing them a letter but can't say anything about it. It's not something to get hugely excited about but obviously does concern the Madeleine McCann investigation.

You might need to reduce your caffeine intake. Try camomile tea instead.

Do we know anything about 'Mick Graham' by the way?

There is still an investigation into the internationally-renowned disappearance of a 3-year-old British girl which is apparently being led by this humble 'D.I.' from Leics Constabulary.

Has no-one made him up to 'D.C.I.' yet?

D.I. Mick Graham of Leics Police currently heads the Madeleine McCann investigation Empty More on Freemasonry

Post by Tony Bennett 06.07.10 11:07

Ruby wrote:Obv not a freemason yet D.I. Mick Graham of Leics Police currently heads the Madeleine McCann investigation 742129
In all seriousness, that is a conclusion that cannot be drawn, 'Ruby'.

It is a documented fact, revealed by former Freemasons, that within police forces, those who have higher rank in the Freemasons [there being 33 degrees altogether] can pull rank and give orders to those who are above them in the police hierarchy.

Disturbing, but true.

The Freemasons are still, especially in the police forces of this country, much much stronger than people realise.

Please observe the paragraphs I've highlighted in red this 2008 Daily Telegrpah report on the [still unresolved] Daniel Morgan case:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++=

Six arrested over private eye murder in 1987

Six men including a former police detective have been arrested over the axe murder of a private eye 21 years ago.

By Nick Allen
Published: 12:33AM BST 22 Apr 2008

[Daniel Morgan Photo: PA]

Private investigator Daniel Morgan, 37, was found with an axe embedded in his head in a pub car park in Sydenham, south London.

The unsolved case has hung over Scotland Yard ever since amid suggestions that Mr Morgan was about to expose a drugs network involving corrupt police officers. One of those held on suspicion of murder is Jonathan Rees, 53, Mr Morgan’s business partner in Southern Investigations.

The pair were drinking together in the Golden Lion pub half an hour before the body of Mr Morgan, a father of two, was found outside the pub.

Also arrested was Sid Fillery, 61, a former detective sergeant at Scotland Yard, who was involved in the orginal investigation into the murder. Mr Fillery later went to work at Southern Investigations.

There have been five inquiries into Mr Morgan’s murder and the latest, code named Operation Abeleard, was conducted from a secret location outside Scotland Yard.

The arrests followed evidence from “super-grasses” at least one of whom is now under police protection.

Builder James Cook, 53, Glenn Vian, 49, and his brother and Garry Vian, 47, have also been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The sixth man, a serving police constable, was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in a public office. He is accused of leaking information.

His arrest was not connected to the murder but to recent events linked to the other five arrests.

At the request of Mr Morgan’s family officers involved in the latest investigation were required to declare that they were not Freemasons.

His brother Alastair Morgan said: “This is a major step forward after a long, frustrating battle to find out who killed Daniel. I am excited at the developments but there’s a long way to go and nobody has yet been charged. The last 21 years of our lives have been completely over-shadowed by my brother’s murder.”

Mr Morgan was killed by four blows from a Chinese-made axe. His £900 Rolex watch was missing but the £1,100 cash he was carrying was still in his pocket.

Scotland Yard Assistant Commissioner John Yates, who is in overall charge of the investigation, said: “Since that tragic event there have been numerous investigations into his death, none of which have been able to establish who was responsible.

“The current investigation has shown that there are still people out there who have highly pertinent evidence about this case.”

Vol. XVI p. 4214

Dear Ricardo,

I refer to our recent telephone call conversations and can confirm that we will starting the interview process w/c 7th April 2008. I hope the e-mail sent on Thursday 13th March helps with your arrangements for your accommodation.

I am in receipt of your e-mail regarding further questions for John Lowe at the FSS and I will forward them for him to answer.

As discussed on Friday, we have made contact with the holiday group ( Paynes, Webster, O’Brien, Tanner, Oldfield, Manpilly ) regarding their availability for the proposed dates for a re-enactment in Portugal. We are still awaiting response from Jeremy Wilkins.

Before they will fully commit to attending they have the following questions that they reguest are answered:-

1 – Why do the PJ want them to take part in the re-enactment?
2 – What is the aim, what are the PJ trying to achieve with the re-enactment?
3 – Why so close to the anniversary?
4 – Why don’t the PJ use actors?
5 – Will the footage of the re-enactment be released to the press/TV etc?
6 – What protection is there for the friends in relation to the media coverage/likely frenzy?

Would you please speak with the Director regarding these questions and consider how you would like us to respond. I would be grateful for a prompt response as this will hopefully ensure that the witnesses are available to attend.

Yours Sincerely

Vol. XVI p. 4216 and 4219 (4217 is the same, in Portugese)

Hello good morning Mick.

In answer to the questions raised by the holiday group regarding the re-enactment in Praia da Luz, Mr Paulo Rebelo wishes to clarify them as follows:

1 – Why do the PJ want them to take part in the re-enactment?

The PJ wants them to take partin the re-enactment because they were the ones who experienced the situation. Therefore they are in the best conditions to reproduce it.

2 – What is the aim, what are the PJ trying to achieve with the re-enactment?

The PJ is trying to find out, with accuracy, the circunstances of the events occurred, using for that purpose the exact place of events and the same persons who took part in it.

3 – Why so close to the anniversary?

Only now has the PJ contitions to carry out these procedings, and also because it is desirable that the weather conditions are as similar as possible to those at the time of the events.

4 – Why don’t the PJ use actors?

The reason is because only the persons involved can clarify, with accuracy and at the same place, their position and movements.

5 – Will the footageof the re-enactment be released to the press/TV etc?

The PJ won’t release any pictures/footage to the press.

6 – What protection is there for the friends in relation to the media coverage/like frenzy?

The place will be isolated and press interference will be avoided to its maximum.

The re-enactment will be carried out in one single day, at the exact time the events occurred.

However, the witnesses are requested to stay in Portugal for a couple of days more, in order to allow the production of all the material which shall be analysed, checked and signed by the persons involved.

Best regards.

Dear Ricardo,

An update for you, as discussed this morning;

We have spoken on a number of ocasions with the holiday group and they are still undecided whether they will agree to attend Portugal to take part in this process.

As a group, they are waiting to see if Gerry and Kate McCann will be invited to attend and participate in the re-enactment. It is my understanding that if Gerry and Kate do not participate in this process, then the decision will be that they will not attend.

In addition, the group have stated that they would require written reassurances about how the process was going to be conducted before agreeing to attend.

Therefore, until these issues are resolved we are unable to get a firm commitment from the holiday group to attend on either of the proposed dates.

All emails can be seen here: http://themaddiecasefiles.com/topic24.html

There's a few more on my blog, but I only nicked them from Maddie case files anyway.

Thank you Jill thumbsup .It just goes to show how much this lot were really interested in helping to find Madeleine. They should have moved heaven and earth to help with the enquiry. Being worried about a"media frenzy" is just jaw dropping. All about them. This makes my blood boil. How dare the "pro's" accuse Tony and the "anti's" of not wanting Madeleine found, when the very people that could have shed some light on the investigation didn't want to attend. A reconstruction could have thrown up some new lines of enquiry, enacting the situation may sometimes make someone remember something they had omitted. How could actors know exactly what they did that night. The interviews they gave are impossible to follow, and vary so much, having all the people together, acting it out, and discussing would undoubtedly been of great help. Perhaps if someone has got to hand the replies the Tapas 7 gave, for their not attending should be posted again, for anyone new to this forum to read them.

Response from Fiona and David Payne:
"Following great consideration, we regret to inform you that we do not wish to attend the proposed re-enactment in Portugal."

Dear Stuart.

Apologies for the late reply.

We gather now that at least Jez Wilkins, Matt and Rach and Dave/Fi are not going/able to make the re-enactment. Given the prosecutor's requirement for all to be in attendance or none at all, and the absolute nature of the planned date, the decision appears to be academic ...

I hope you are well.

Best wishes,

Russel & Jane

E – About the interest of the reconstruction

Taking into account that there were certain points in the arguidos' and witnesses' statements that revealed, apparently at least, contradiction or that lacked physical confirmation, it was decided to carry out the "reconstruction of the fact", a diligence that is consecrated in article 150 of the Penal Process Code in the sense of duly clarifying, on the very location of the facts, the following very important details, among others:

1 – The physical, real and effective proximity between Jane Tanner, Gerald McCann and Jeremy Wilkins, at the moment when the first person walked by them, and which coincided with the sighting of the supposed suspect, carrying a child. It results, in our perspective, strange that neither Gerald McCann nor Jeremy Wilkins saw her, or the alleged abductor, despite the exiguity of the space and the peacefulness of the area;

2 – The situation concerning the window to the bedroom where Madeleine slept, together with the twins, which was open, according to Kate. It seemed then necessary to clarify if there was a draught, since movement of the curtains and pressure under the bedroom door are mentioned, which, eventually, could be verified through the reconstitution;

3 – The establishment of a timeline and of a line of effective checking on the minors that were left alone in the apartments, given that, if it is believed that such checking was as tight as the witnesses and the arguidos describe it, it would be, at least, very difficult to reunite conditions for the introduction of an abductor in the residence and the posterior exit of said abductor, with the child, namely through a window with scarce space. It is added that the supposed abductor could only pass, through that window, holding the minor in a different position (vertical) from the one that witness JANE TANNER saw (horizontal);

4 – What happened during the time lapse between approximately 6.45/7 p.m. – the time at which MADELEINE was seen for the last time, in her apartment, by a different person (David Payne) from her parents or siblings – and the time at which the disappearance is reported by Kate Healy – at around 10 p.m.;

5 – The obvious and well-known advantages of immediate appreciation of evidence, or in other words, the fulfilment of the principle of contiguity of evidence in order to form a conviction, as firm as possible, about what was seen by Jane Tanner and the other interposers, and, eventually, to dismiss once and for all any doubts that may subsist concerning the innocence of the missing [child's] parents.

In this sense, the legal procedures were followed, according to the norms and conventions that are in force, and the appearance of the witnesses was requested, inviting them to be present inclusively appealing to solidarity with the McCann couple, as it is certain that since the beginning they adhered to that process diligence.

Nevertheless, despite national authorities assuming all measures to render their trip to Portugal viable, for unknown motives, after the many doubts that they raised about the necessity and opportunity of their trip were clarified several times, they chose not to attend, which rendered the diligence inviable.

We believe that the main damage was caused to the McCann arguidos, who lost the possibility to prove what they have protested since they were constituted arguidos: their innocence towards the fateful event; the investigation was also disturbed, because said facts remain unclarified.

Dear Sir,

I write with reference to the Notification dated 9th May 2008, which I received on Saturday 17th may 2008.

I am hereby informing you that I will not be attending the proposed Reconstruction in Portugal on 29th and 30th May 2008. I have reached this decision after considering advice from our Lawyers.

Yours faithfully,

Matthew David Oldfield

Why would you need to take advice from lawyers thinking , if it were me, I would just rush off there and do anything to help confused

What were they scared of? is the big question.

Or - Do the McCanns have some kind of control over their group of 'friends'?

Edit - Could it be as simple as them not wanting an official record made of them neglecting young children/babies?

I would love these e-mails to be in the public domain then people would see for themselves how little the McCanns and their friends did to assist the PJ in their investigations angry

I am sure we could put together a little (downloadable) article on our website to include these e-mails which also, 'Autumn', expose the extremely chummy and cosy relationship between 'Stu' Prior and the 'Tapas 9'. But not of course before we've brightened those 'Irish Eyes' with our demolition job on the Chinagirl 'rebuttal'
