CONTEMPT OR CLUE?

Can someone please give me a REASONABLE hypothesis as to why CW thought they could show someone (tannerman) walking in THE WRONG DIRECTION ! even being so bold as to show a map of where the night creche is, knowing full well that anyone with even a small amount of knowledge of the case would spot this straight away?

Are they trying to tell us something, or do they seriously have that much contemt for us?

Or are they, like many journalists and interviewers over the part few years, simply not prepared.
They have never bothered to con the brief, and just repeat what some script writer, who has also not done 6 years of research, has written.

Given the choice of conspiracy or crass incompetence, it is usually easier to start with the latter.
