Well-timed isn't it? Loved the bit of Eubank saying he wasn't going to accept £ 21.000 and the judge saying this was a prelim hearing.
Another lot of nobodies/hasbeens turning up demanding attention. We should be collecting money for the people who thought they were worth hacking. Obviously not of sound mind.

I read yesterday I think it was the independent newspaper that information had been given by a supergrass, an insider to phone hacking, and this person was going to be a prosecution witness, Independent stated they knew who it was, they also mentioned a computer and phone, if I remember right when the hacking investigation started didn't the chief exe NOW husband lose a laptop and mobile phone they were found in a outside waste bin and handed to police and he went to claim them back.

More than 800 potential new phone-hacking victims have been identified, the High Court will hear today, after a tabloid "supergrass" helped police secure fresh evidence.
The fresh line of inquiry investigation stems from information provided by a former News of the World insider, whose identity is known to The Independent.
The supergrass's decision to turn Queen's Evidence and co-operate with the Weeting probe began in 2011, The Independent understands.
Computer equipment and a mobile phone belonging to the writer which the Met examined is alleged to have contained information which raised suspicions that phone hacking was not confined to news desk and the private detective which NOTW news executives regularly employed to oversee hacking.

I think we may well find that the 'supergrass' is none other than Rebekah Brooks' former personal assistant, Essex girl from Billericay, Cheryl Carter, who was arrested as part of Operation Elvedon and charged with 'perverting the course of justice'.Cherry Blossom wrote:Snipped from Independent

Here's one article about her:

A trusted personal assistant of Rebekah Brooks for many years, who would know many many secrets...now turned Queen's evidence to save her skin - and bring down many more wrong-doers?
I posted about Cheryl Carter on the forum some time ago, as I had a source in Essex who knows her, but can't now find the post

They were photographed and the photo handed to a press agency, who released it on 8 May, as the search for Madeleine continued. The McCanns held up these same pyjamas at two press conferences on 5 & 7June 2007. How could Madeleine have been abducted?"
Amelie McCann (aged 2): "Maddie's jammies!".

Thanks so much for the information and the link Tony, after reading your post I agree with you on who the supergrass turns out to be. I've followed the hacking investigation from day one but tend to forget who's been arrested and why. Wonder how many more will do a deal and turn supergrass.

Hope the 'supergrass' is under police protection 24/7 or whoever that be might find himself/herself ending up like David Kelly.

But Cheryl Carter is not a writer. Rebekah Brooks' husband Charlie Brooks on the other hand used to write for the Telegraph and we know that a computer and phone found in a car park which he tried to reclaim were seized by the police

If it isn’t the Wolfman, who could it be?
“One of very few things that have hurt is an appalling lie that has floated around Fleet Street. Apparently it surfaced in Private Eye – that police/CPS only decided on No Further Action in my case because I had “helped with their inquiries” into colleagues. That could not – literally, physically – be further from the truth. As any crime reporter who still has a police contact talking to them can find out after 30 years, I’m inured to bitchiness of Fleet Street, but that’s a lie that’s beyond the pale.”
