Hi,

Social Worker from the UK, now in New Zealand. I have been following the case on and off over the years and have always had a strong opinion and frustration on what has happened to Madeline and the subsequent madness in a multitude of areas. Following other forums and educating myself want to put my thoughts and ideas across also. Returning to the UK soon, I am very interested in what occurs, the press cover ups and the 'big picture' of corruption.

Anyway, my thoughts, but hope i can be an active and interactive member :)

A very big welcome! It is truly SHOCKING once you get to grips with what is going on, and I an no expert at all, folks here have been on the case since day one.

I was talking to jd a while back on another thread, taking about Howick in NZ? It is pretty important I think, I'll give you the link...

Thankyou, I was aware of some connection to NZ that is great information.

Kiwi's i have spoken to express doubt also, especially as the child abuse rate here is enormous (but is not wanted to be spoken about).

I would hope for someone to break through the seal of silence, particularly in the media, although i doubt there is anyone strong enough to do this at the moment, roll on Feb and hope the libel cases reach out a great deal more.
