MONDAY, JULY 23: I got up at 7.00 and went running. I was surrounded by a
pack of dogs (more or less 12)—it really wasn’t a nice experience. I
went to the flat, high part of the cliff as I felt really alone and a
little frightened. Please God, don’t let Madeleine be buried here.

There was at least one pack of stray dogs around and in town at this time, this has been confirmed from various sources. They occasionally hassled people. What happened soon after was an animal charity did a lot of work to net at least some of these dogs. The point is that her account is confirmed by independent research, it fits the known situation of stray dog pack PDL May 2007.

Yes that is what diary says. Sounds like a genuine fear in my opinion. Francisco Moita Flores wrote "The mystery lies with one or two ---- elements that used to enter that apartment". Why does everyone assume that includes her?

The fact that it is confirmed there are stray dogs in PdL does not confirm the truthfulness of Kate. She still can have made up this story, as she did with so many.

And even if she was bothered by the dogs what does that say? Or was Madeleine taken by a Portuguese dingo? Kate has a habit of taking one truth mix it in with at least 10 lies and then she thinks people will believe it is all true. Sadly some do.

I think you know very well what Moita Flores meant, and who he thinks is at the center of this fake abduction. For the accidental reader: Kate. So please don't try to lift some of his words to warp them as if he did not mean Kate.

What makes this comment very concerning and highly suspicious is the 'fact' from the 3 possible scenarios ie 'buried' "alive' and 'bring her back'.......The thought that is at the forefront in GM's mind is 'buried'. This is what his mindset is thinking first. Fact. Put another way, if in your hearts of hearts you believe your child has been abducted and is alive somewhere, the forefront of all your thoughts are only words and thoughts of she is alive and bring her back. The buried thought would be a last thought

No it doesnt prove her account is true, but it shows that at least her account matches the animal situation in summer 2007. There was at least one pack of stray dogs then, and incidentally they did occaisionally hassle people. And someone else witnessed dogs in the general area she says she was surrounded by them (lower area of the big hill). What exactly would be the benefit of fabricating this dogs story? In my opinion it is more likely that her account of the dogs is true.

Go to Turkey, there are stray dogs everywhere. It does not mean they are dangerous.

Our Katie is just filling up space in her book, as she has nothing better to write in it.

One of the very few words from GM that I could say is true are the stray dogs. But the big slip up is the burial thought. Thank you GM

These statements in the diary became later confirmed as completely true.

I was picking up on an earlier post about stray dogs. Knew there were a pack of dogs so assumed the pack were stray as it would seem likely they were if they are in a pack

As Kate is a pathological liar she will lie even if it does not have a purpose.
But in this case she needed an opening to talk about that rock. That rock likely is very important in what happened if you look at the ways it keeps on popping up in the bewk.

I live in a town that has at least 200 packs of stray dogs (if you count > 3 a pack). As a matter of fact we have one at the corner of our street. In the 20 years I have lived in various areas with a huge stray population I have never been bothered by them, not even once.

Must be that cadaver smell.

People live full lives amidst hundreds of stray dogs without even once being barked at, but Kate managed to be bitten once and harassed once in one vacation. Must be a hell of a cadaver smell.

Or a vacation under a bad horoscope, considering that in the same short period she manage to loose a daughter and become an arguida.
