Yes, you would JohnyT.  I do not understand why this couple try to trash any attempts that might find their daughter.  One thing after another is rubbished by one or other of them. The dogs, times they were at different places are contradicted, they laugh when there are reports of sightings of their daughter, they could not be bothered to go out in the cold and dark to look for her, although most of the villagers did just that.  Everything points to Madeleine not being there after Sunday.  Photographs are changed to try and prove that Madeleine was there that week.  What I would like to know is why haven't they been seriously questioned by Portuguese and British policemen?  Our own police were told to ONLY investigate an abduction AND NOTHING ELSE!  Why was that, and who was responsible for telling them to do that?  Why was our British Government involved from the start on what was supposed to be a missing child investigation?  Why is our Government constantly throwing money towards this investigation when other children have also disappeared in the meantime?  Something here stinks like 'A Red Herring'!

Well he did have a big blue bag when they went out there because it was photographed in the cupboard by the police I believe.  Mr Amaral also questioned where the pink blanket had disappeared to, one minute it was there, the next minute it had gone.  Where did it go to. Kate McCann was also photographed with Madeleine's toy in her hand or dangling from her bag.  Why would you wash her favourite toy destroying the smell of her?  There were also different stories about how Madeleine got the toy. Was it given to her on her birthday...which had not arrived yet....was it a favourite toy?  Who knows, more conflicting stories, imo the toy was used as a tool to get people to believe that she doted on Madeleine.

How anyone who loved their children could try and discredit a man, no not just discredit, destroy a man who did his absolute best to find their missing daughter is beyond me.  Why refuse to answer 48 questions?  Why trash the dog's and the scientists' findings?  None of this makes sense.  Why has our Government banned the sale of Amaral's book and allowed this couple to decide what people can or cannot read?  Why was Kate employed by Missing Persons charity?  Was it to give her some credibility?  I recently read that Kate has now given up work altogether!  How can they say that they have done everything they can to find her when they have built a mansion and extended it, using money from the Fund set up to find Madeleine to pay their mortgage with? 

I am sick of seeing these two travelling the world on money that was donated only to find Madeleine, not pay for their trips abroad.

I am disgusted to find out that the Fund to find Madeleine also pays legal bills and supports other family members.  What about Madeleine?  She hardly ever gets a mention these days, it is all about Mr and Mrs McCann.  They are NOT celebrities even if they believe they are.

So Many Contradictions:


Kate says Madeleine was snuggled down in her bed because it was cold and she was reading her a story (that is what good parents do isn't it?).


Gerry says Madeleine was laid on top of the covers because it was hot.
The 'abductor' lifted Madeleine out of her bed with her head in his right arm. Yet Jane Tanner says she saw the 'abductor' in the street with a child with its head in his left arm and feet dangling over his right arm.




If the hinges on the door were on the right then Kate would be able to see Madeleine's bed through the slight gap but not the curtains 'whooshing up to the ceiling'


If the hinges on the bedroom door were on the left then Kate would not be able to see Madeleine's bed but she would see the curtains 'whooshing up to the ceiling' She cannot see through doors.




The police photograph clearly shows the curtains up against the wall with the bed and chair(?) pushed up against them. It was impossible for the curtains to 'whoosh' as Kate described. The photos were taken as soon as the police came on the scene. It was not windy that night.

Kate thinks the abductor had picked Madeleine up out of her bed, then carried her between the two cots over to the jemmied window. He then clibed through the window with the child in his arms and jumped several feet below. Who held up the shutters? Cannot be done. Why would the abductor do that anyway when Gerry says he left the outside door next to the bedroom unlocked. He could have just walked down the corridor, picked Madeleine up and walked out again......but no, he climbs through the window instead!




Kate says the room was bright because of the curtains being drawn back (Gerry confirmed that he had drawn back the curtains). Although earlier she says that she could not see Madeleine because it was dark in the room.




Forensic checks revealed that the window had not been jemmied open as they could only be opened from the inside. Only Kate's fingerprints were found on the shutters.




Kate said she knew Madeleine had been 'abducted' the moment she saw cuddle cat on the shelf above the bed. There is NO shelf above the bed.




Madeleine was supposedly abducted in pyjamas with pink bottoms. (why did they take a photo of the pyjamas before the supposed 'abduction'? Kate said David Pain had not come in to the apartment and but stood on the doorstep for a few minutes. Gerry told David Pain he had been playing tennis 'for long enough' Long enough for what?


Gerry lied about how close the Tapas bar was.
Where were the clothes Madeleine had been wearing? Where were the clothes she was photographed wearing in the playground. Where were her things ie toothbrush, hairbrush, underclothes, toys etc etc. Parents said all three children shared ONE tooth brush! Where were her shoes and why did Kate McCann wash the clothes that were there?




Gerry tore up one of Madeleine's crayoning books to write out his timeline. Why would you destroy your
daughter's last colouring in book if she had disappeared. Surely you would want to keep it as a memory of her wouldn't you?




There were several claims about what caused the awful smell in the hire car that was hired long after Madeleine disappeared: Spilt meat juices from the shopping; Smell of fish (red herring?) which one of the twins had taken a liking to......age 2yrs! Neighbours said the car doors had been left open for days.




Kate says she slept in the children's bedroom because of Gerry's snoring. Yet others say she stomped off because he was paying more attention to one of the employees than he was of Kate.


Where did Kate's bruising come from? She destroyed some of the furniture in a rage she says.




Several different people laid claim to the 'tennis photograph' including Kate. She said she had to run back to get her camera.




The 'last photograph' was taken on a sunny day. It was not sunny on the day it was supposedly taken. The shadows and the reflections in Gerry's sunglasses are all wrong. Some people think Madeleine has been photo shopped in on the photograph.




Why did Gerry make a point of pointing out and describing the defect in Madeleine's eye when the police told him it would sign her death warrant if someone was holding her? No father would have done that.




Why was Madeleine crying for an hour and a quarter, sobbing for her father, when Kate was in the apartment at the time on her mobile 'phone? Phone records prove that she was there. Why delete emails?


Why had the creche records been so obviously altered? Why was there any doubt about who had picked Madeleine up from the creche?




Why would anyone on holiday clean the apartment and wash the curtains, clean the floor with bleach and dump a fridge? Surely that was down to the apartment owner?




Why were there so many doctors, scientists businessmen and millionaires at the complex all together, when the weather was still cold? Was it a meeting of minds?


Why refuse to answer the many questions the police asked? Why were both Kate and Gerry questioned together in the same room? Why was he allowed to squeeze her shoulder (as she said) if she gave a good answer?


All of the above have been taken from the police files so I believe they are factual and true.

As regards the bruising, I also think Kate's face looks shiny and puffy down one side in this interview
