I think its weird that MW gets a message at 23.00hrs on the night of the 3rd.

Madeleine had supposedly only been missing an hour - she could easily have been found in that hour.

My son went missing for 3 hours when he was 5 - yes, the worst time of my life but the police found him - he had just been curious and gone walkies.

It's indeed one of the first indications, that something was wrong. WHY scare the sh*t out of people, especially the elderly like grandparents, around midnight when she could have been found within hours?

After reading thru' some of the PJ files, I believe this statement by a Mr John Brown to be of some interest.
Apologies if this has been disgusted before, but I find it interesting because a Mr Michael Wright is also one
of the drivers of the hired car.
Are these two people, the same Michael Wright allied to the McCanns?
Is this John Brown related to Gordon Brown?

Appears strange, two people with surnames Wright and Brown, hire a car in and around the time of the

Strangely enough I was sifting through some notes on files this morning and found the name Pauline Frances McCann - Baby Club. So I looked for any post recently to find out more, but nothing.

I am sure there was thread with a discussion about connected people but I can't find it. So I am mentioning it here. I may have been within the Creche thread but its huge!

Too true windchime. I cannot accept that 'another' Michael Wright (along with a John Brown) hired the SAME hire car as the McCann's who have a close relation, who is also on scene, called Michael Wright.

I am very interested in this 'other' Michael Wright. I have been looking through references to this man on older threads and have found that John Brown and Michael Wright(plus others who had hired the Renault just before the McCann's) might all have been doctors. I have looked on the GMC list of registered doctors and found one Michael George Wright. There are many John Browns so it is possible that he is a doctor. Now wouldn't it be a very strange coincidence if all these people who hired this car during this time were doctors?

Blimey! Well there you are! Sorry if this is old news but I did not know that Jill Renwick - best friend of the MC'S- lives in the same street as Gordon Brown's brother John. Not saying that he was the hire car driver though.

But it just seems like a coincidence that someone from Skipton nicked the database.
