One thing the McCanns do not understand

I just wanted to post this thought, it's from the view that the McCanns are telling the truth... mostly

ok let's just say the McCanns did not hide their daughter, and she did not die from an accident in the apartment.
They defend themselves by saying they were only 50 metres away watching the apartment (I don't agree, but let's just that for now)

So we go with what they said.. There was an abductor, but here is the thing,
an abductor wouldn't necessarily have to go inside the apartment to take her.
The door was unlocked right, well that means Madeleine could have woken up, she could have gone to find her parents,
she goes the wrong way, she walks down the steps, opens the small gate, and walks into the street.
and then someone took her.

And this is one of the big reason why so many people have turned against the McCanns.
when a 3 yr old girl goes missing,
and you show lot's of pictures in the media and on the internet of Madeleine holding tennis balls, and smiling,
and innocent and happy... it causes peoples natural protective instincts to kick in, and they feel like they want to protect her.

The problem is the level of protection they feel is greater than the protection she had on that night.

So when the parents do not say things in the interviews like, we didn't protect her enough, I blame myself,
we made a mistake, we feel responsible.

When that doesn't happen and instead people hear the parents defending themselves, it makes them feel angry,
and then they think the parents are covering themselves because they are avoiding charges of neglect, (which they did)
So that makes them feel suspicious.

People think well, if they would cover themselves to avoid that,
then why wouldn't they also cover themselves if Madeleine did have an accident and died in the apartment?

What I'm saying is if the McCanns are telling the truth... mostly
one thing they do not understand is people did not turn against them because they hate them...
the real reason they turned against them is because they love Madeleine.

The majority of people on the forums talking about the things the McCanns don't want to hear,
are the very people that care about Madeleine the most.

Have you seen the footage of British sniffer dogs alerting to blood and cadaver scent in the McCanns apartment, on Kate McCanns clothes and in the car they hired three weeks after they claimed Maddie was 'abducted'?

The McCann's obvious lies to absolve themselves of blame certainly played a role in the public's attitude to them. First the apartment was said to have been securely locked until it became blindingly obvious that no one had broken in through a window. Then they decided to sacrifice a little of their "responsible" image by claiming the patio doors were unlocked. Most people who believed this also believed it was out of sheer laziness to walk a few steps further and unlock the front door. No one swallowed the claim that it was to allow their friends to do "extra" checks. Kate's statements clearly contradict this by claiming she had been about to check at 9.30 and Matt's offer to go instead was unexpected. Martin Grime and the dogs finished their credibility, despite all the efforts to discredit them at the time and since. Grime had no hidden agenda. He was fully satisfied that his dogs were functioning perfectly and that their alerts were clear and confident. It became obvious that the parents were attempting to place a protective shield of politicians, spokespeople, diplomats, media, celebrities and hard cash around themselves to protect themselves from Portuguese justice and make themselves "untouchable". Their claim that this was to "raise awareness" of Madeleine's plight rang hollow. What sealed it for me was their cynical attempts to include a "wider agenda". Normal people caught in a maelstorm are incapable of thinking beyond their own pressing emergency at that time. Much later, when initial shock and grief abates to acceptance, parents may well campaign - on safety issues, for medicines or treatments which might have helped etc. They do so to prevent others suffering what they have gone through and to extract something positive from the loss of their child. They do NOT however, divert from their own predicament as it is unfolding. The McCanns own behaviour damned them in the eyes of many.

There's enough circumstantial evidence there to make the McCanns arguidos in Portugal
