Actually what is surprising about Sr Police on the take?

Even political leaders are known to accept freebies.

What and who do people think keep people like 'Murdoch' in power?
He cant have acquired or built up that kind of absolute power over UK politics and public lives for decades without exercising his power by influencing political leaders and police commissioners and a few more to his side.
