Indeed so. My mother still has a daub I did when I was very small. And I am now approaching middle age, actually somewhat over 60 !
To throw it away would be unthinkable for her, and I am still alive (I believe ! Hang on I'll just check)

Rosa - I would guess that daub is another word for a child's (possibly messy) painting. One dictionary definition is "a painting executed without much skill" but that doesn't mean that it is treasured any the less!

This would be so sacred to me I would treasure it with my life and in realistic terms, there would be other things to write on. Such as the welcome pack documents you get when you arrive on holiday that explain all the rules and regs of the resort. Or rip open the cereal box and write on the inside, to say there wasn't anything else to write on is ludicrous and unbelievable & another fudge of the truth. If my only option was to write on the wall I would do this rather than rip up my precious daughters sticker book. But then I am not a doctor!

My Mother died 8 years ago but I still keep a shopping list she wrote out shortly before she died as it is in her handwriting. I couldn't bear to part with it.

I envisage a crisis meeting at 4/4.30, with parents compelled to attend. That might be why they (O'B and Mann) put their kids into care as late as 4.30.
But why? No wonder Mark Warner called in crisis managers. A lot of people have been told to keep their mouths firmly shut.

Every one of those parents who put their child into creche late that day needs to be questioned under caution. Only two children went in around the normal time, but even they were not signed out in the normal way. The writing was too feint to be even recognisable, why? The following day 5, yes 5 children, ALL got signed in at precisely 2.30. How interesting, don't you think compared to the day before. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I've just noticed something else, the Totman child was signed in at 2.15 that day. Creche starts at 2.30 and on no other day has any child been signed in that early.

I wonder what was so special about that day?

I doubt that very much ROSA. They would have sued the pants off MW and been screaming for the nanny to be hanged, if she did.

We should be thankful that the creche records and phone records have been released to the public, or we would be none the wiser.

Just as they would have been screaming for:

1. the investigation to remain open
2. the dogs findings to be investigated

....had Maddie 'disappeared' whilst being in the care of a nanny.

Thank you ROSA. That is proof that arm bands were only added to the children's arms, AFTER the alarm was raised.

Why did the nanny lie about all the children having ones before?

It makes you think. Every service was available for card-holders only and starfish & lobster creche wasn't free for both am & pm. If the time in - time out is not on the sheets perhaps they used a swipe card system & charged from the printout? Now, wouldn't that be interesting to see. From looking at those sheets, it seems likely that they were back-filled.

Mr McCann: There are two elements. Right at the very beginning, Mark Warner had a media specialist, a crisis management specialist from Bell Pottinger called Alex Wilful, who was incredibly helpful to us and, in those early days, gave us quite simple guidance which we found particularly helpful.

I wonder how the Met team are getting on with all the evidence they have been given by various individuals, in relation to the creche records?

Let's hope that the McCanns realise that there are more important things to do at the moment than to go round running after them.
