UPDATE.

I had a call from Detective Chief Inspector Trevor Roe this morning.

A Detective Sergeant will be taking a full statement from me this Sunday (3rd January) about the harassment by Ms Butler of myself and others. Many examples of this are already in the Police's hands.

As of today, the Madeleine Foundation bankers have not yet given permission for the police to view the two cheques in question. Christmas is blamed for the delay. Ms Butler eventually signed her consent to the two cheques being viewed by the police. I undestand that the police's only interest is in whether the cheques were signed by both of us. Ms Butler alleges they weren't.

They were.

But it seems it will take a while for the police to conclude their enquiries on both matters.

Ms Butler's latest harassment is to publish, on a blog/forum she has started, serious allegations against me, totally untrue of course, too unpleasant to even record in this brief posting.

Not very pleasnat when someone is spreading untruths about you all over the place.

Perhaps you should be thankful for small mercies that she hasn't leafleted your neighbours with the allegations .

Exactly, I think in all fairness, Tony Bennett must acknowledge that he is only getting a fraction of the kind of thing that he has helped heap on the Doctors McCann and Healy. Does Tony Bennett now understand what it feels like to be lied about?

Mr Bennett, you seem to have so much personal news - have you ever considered starting your own forum where people who were interested could go and read it?

Some of us are interested in reading what Tony Bennett has to post. If you are not one of those persons, you are welcome to put him on ignore or just ignore any threads or posts started by him.

One of the reasons this forum was set up was to give Tony Bennett a place to reply to the accusations that Debbie Butler and others were leveling at him.

If Jill is happy to have Tony posting here, I don't see why it should bother anyone else, as she is the one hosting this forum.

Shame that the only place the McCann's can reply to accusations that are posted through their neighbours' letterboxes is in a solicitor's office/libel court. They can't come on a forum and do it.

Agreed, and as long as this forum remains it is to be hoped that Tony will continue to post here.

I don't think it bothers anyone that Tony posts here.

But, like all posters if they are to be "playing on a level playing field" he can't expect people to agree with him 100% of the time. And posting up lists of people he doesn't like doesn't really do him any favours does it? It just looks petty.

Why should they reply on forums? Is it so evil people can attack them on forums as well as harrasing them via leaflets and books.They have showed more dignity than some posters have in their little fingers. Remember they have been attacked since day one really by some quarters (and i am not saying even pro's are perfect and innocent either), questioning the photos, the fridges, the dogs, the crematorium all the crack pot ideas.
Remember how someone suggested Madeleine was being suggestive with an ice cream in a picture. A PICTURE THAT WAS ACTUALLY DOCTORED BY A MOD ON THE 3a'S. (and the original was posted up after a while by someone else and that Mod said that they forgotten they had the picture)
Stevo writing about Madeleine having no neck, is that the mind of a sane person, or someone who wants to pile heap of pressure on the parents of a missing child?

So ask again why should they reply on forums?
