GIFT FROM KYLIE MINOGUE BOOSTS FUNDS TO CARRY ON HUNT

KYLIE Minogue has given a huge boost to the parents of Madeleine McCann by raising funds to help the search for their missing daughter.
The singer pledged her support for the youngster’s family by donating a designer handbag for their “Bags of Hope” auction.
Kate and Gerry had asked people to donate bags for three fund-raisers in Leicester, Liverpool, and Glasgow.
Kylie’s silver shoulder bag, complete with an autograph and photo of the Australian star, was a prized gift, it was revealed yesterday. It is not known how much it fetched.
She was among a host of celebrities to donate a bag, helping to raise tens of thousands of pounds for the cause.
Among other generous celebrities to help out were Coleen Rooney, Fearne Cotton, Lorraine Kelly, Carol Vorderman and Chris Tarrant.
Friends, family and supporters of the McCanns also gave gifts. And Kate and Gerry have been overwhelmed by the huge response.
A source close to the McCanns said yesterday: “They are very grateful to everyone who gave bags and bought them. They were in all shapes and sizes, from glamorous designer bags to casual sports items.”

Autumn! and LOL at the BLUE TENNIS BAG donation! What auction? Another one now? I will click this now -Gosh these ppl are all linked together, the media, with the 'stars' (or dirtbags) and them, you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours, all money is good money, as long as there will be idiots to be fascinated in their dull little life, it will be ok, they'll give, they'll buy!

--am thinking of starting a 'R U an idiot?" campaign on facebook or something, and include all this, so that no one wants to be seen -ever again - wearing a Maddy t-shirt or displaying a Sun paper on their coffee-table! A Gift from Kylie 706442

Well I suppose it is publicity for the named celebs, the same names do keep cropping up don't they?

We are just going to have to settle ourselves that the McCanns will continue with all their money making efforts for as long as they are able/free to.

So far the mccanns have had a bank full of luck and money.....the money seems to be running out according to them but their luck seems to have staying power....uhmmm......

They are just lucky they were and still not prosecuted, not so lucky when they were caught out by GOD I mean DOG (reversely spelled). Just goes to show there is no comparison - God's providence is way greater than they'd countered for. Hey, both sides police were unanimous Maddie died in the apt and her parents involved. The mccanns knew the whole word knew they knew what happened to Madeleine - they were not made arguidos without good reasons.
Doesnt matter they suppressed the truth...it doesnt alter the FACT they were 'suspects' and have never been exonerated in the Court of Law. That FACT that they were suspects will remain in historical records even after the mccanns had gone back to their GOD.

Given the choice between Kylie or Lorraine Kelly's bag it would have to be Kylie's. In fairness to Kylie she probably doesn't know much about the case and thought donating an old handbag would at least show willing. I expect the McGreedys were hoping for a huge cash donation from her but looks like they weren't so lucky lucky lucky!

The whole idea is soooo tacky and can't imagine how they thought this was a good money spinner. Would be interesting to know how many attended the Bag Sale and what it brought in.
What sort of person would feel their lives had been enriched because they were swanning around with Lorraine Kelly's handbag? And WHY would any sane person want ANYTHING that had belonged to the McCanns' - they really do still see themselves as celebs don't they.

Oh, that infamous gerry private property is probably lying at the bottom of seabed or buried away from police.

All that is on sale are bags celebrities no longer want.
Most likely celebrities were clearing out their clutters where old and unwanted stuff that would normally go into the bin or charity are now given to the mccanns instead. Well, if that makes the celebrities feel they're doing something useful so be it. I think it's more a case of rather give it to someone who might want it (like beggar-mccanns) then bin it mentality than a wish to give it especially to aid the help for Madeleine.

Did anybody see anything about these auctions before this last couple of days? SAurely for such events to be real money making happenings people need to know and the red hot items as in Kylie's cast offs need to be out there for the punters to drool over.
I have to confess I thought the title was quite clever, pity it is all a con.
