I think that all the missing pieces of information from the 29th and the 30th, at the very least means something very significant happend very early on in that holiday.

I don't think that the records were ever taken for Tennis for the other days. They are not on the missing records section. The pages go from 656 to 658 and 655 & 659 relate to other OC documents. There is a conflict between Katie's book & Dan's statement for Thursday.

The missing list as seen on PJfiles, is a compilation of what various people have noticed missing. It is not a factual account of what is really missing, as only the PJ will know this.

Isn't the list of guests at the resort from May 2nd also missing?

This is the one which I'd like most to see as it could be very revealing with who I think is booked in on this date

Yes jd, the report that should have been 'printed' on the 2nd is missing. But if someone checked in on that date and stayed, it would show up on the 3rd.

What we cannot tell at the moment, is who was already booked in when they arrived on the 28th and checked out before the 1st, which could be interesting.

From the lists I have seen, it looks as though there are only part of all guests at the resort. mainly because they are just one page and my understanding is that OC is quite a big resort

I think I will study them again!

Having both of these reports missing from the files, it is impossible to determine who might have been staying out there and checked out of the resort, by the end of the day on the 30th.

This is crucial information, if Madeleine died on the night of the 28th, or in the early hours of the 29th.

Possible suspects and accomplices will have gone under the radar...

Portugese PM on reasons for archiving:

"The other element that led the McCanns to being made arguidos, an email that was considered as compromising, would also end up being discarded as an element of evidence.

According to the document, even if the couple was responsible for their daughter's death, it would have to be explained under which circumstances that happened, namely, how, when, what for and with what help."

Also interestingly:

"Among the motives to consider that the couple had no responsibilities in their daughter's disappearance, the PM points out, in the archiving dispatch, that none of them was in the apartment when the child disappeared."
